Justin’s Take

This video is genuinely helpful because it shows the tour exactly as it happens, not a sanitized promotional version. Josh and Rachael's real reactions and unfiltered commentary give you confidence in what you're actually booking, and you see both the thrilling moments and the quieter, reflective ones as they take in the canyon.

What stands out most is how the video captures the sense of scale—you really understand why the Grand Canyon demands to be seen from the air at least once. If you're torn between a ground tour and a helicopter experience, this footage will settle the question. Absolutely worth watching before you book.

Good morning everybody. I'm Josh. And I'm Rachel. And the sun is just coming up and there's really only one thing that would get us up moving and ready to get off the strip at this time. We are going to go on a helicopter ride this morning. To the Grand Canyon. Yeah. We're so excited.

Super excited, so come along with us and we'll show you our adventure. Maverick Helicopters will send a shuttle to pick you up at your hotel. Ours arrived at 7:15 in the morning. The shuttle will take you to the

Maverick Hangar at the south end of the strip just past the Las Vegas sign where you can see all the helicopters, get checked in, and check out their gift shop. We do recommend dressing warm in the winter, bringing sunglasses, and going to the bathroom before takeoff since there are no bathrooms where you land in

the Grand Canyon.

Hi. What would you two like to drink? I have water, Sprite, Coke, and champagne. Champagne. I'll do champagne. Sure.

How about we sit right here? Oh. Somebody just got engaged. Cheers. Cheers. Not us. Do you think it's something in our helicopter? I would assume so. I think we're the only ones who have.

Oh, We just missed it. Pretty way to ruin my whole message. Yeah, I'm okay with that. This is so cool. Yeah, it is. All right, so we have been here probably about 20 25 minutes. We'll probably be taking off pretty soon. What do you think? It's well worth it. Yeah. Trip of a lifetime. Experience of a

lifetime. Definitely something worthwhile. Yeah. Um these helicopters are great. This landing spot is so peaceful. It's beautiful. The weather is perfect. Um it is right now December 19th. Um and it's probably somewhere in the 50s, 60°. So, long sleeve, some jeans. It's beautiful.

Highly recommend. Yeah. It's definitely perfect.

On the flight back to Vegas, you will take a different route to the airport. During the flight, we stopped to get fuel and it provided a great photo op in the desert with some Joshua trees in the background. As we fly further, you will see the Valley of Fire State Park and of course

we finish by flying over Fremont Street and the Las Vegas Strip.
