It's going to be very exciting, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. We chose to go with Jack Carter helicopter tours because they had the

0:51 longest one available for doors off which was 60 to 65 minutes and they had the best safety record. So, we're really excited to go. Um, it's about to be the most expensive hour of our lives, so I hope it's worth it. We drove over to Jack Carter helicopters located just a few minutes from the

1:05 Lehoo airport to check in for our flight. And right away, we could tell they took safety very seriously. Before we could even think about flying, they verified we had no loose items with us, including anything in our pockets. We had to wear secure shoes that wouldn't fall off, and they strongly recommended

1:20 bringing a jacket since it got chilly at altitude. We just checked in. They give us these nice straps on our phones so that we don't lose them and put them on our wrist and take videos the whole time. After a detailed safety briefing, we boarded the shuttle that took us over to the airport where our helicopter was

1:34 waiting. The helicopter we flew in was the MD500E. And if you're wondering about safety, this model has a great reputation. It's often used for military and law enforcement missions, which speaks volumes about how agile and reliable it is. The ground crew led us to our assigned seats, carefully arranged based

I was surprised to see that the seat belts in the back were just a standard three-point harness, just like a car. Within a minute or so, we were off the ground and soaring into the sky. This was our first time ever flying in a

But as soon as our pilot's calm voice came through the headset, gently narrating what we were seeing and where we were headed, it immediately put me at ease and made the whole experience feel more grounded and reassuring. While the route is essentially the same, this extra time allows the pilots to circle back at each point of interest, giving everyone on both sides of the helicopter an amazing view. One of the first and most exciting sites we flew over was Menavayup Puna Falls, which you might recognize from the opening scene of the original Jurassic Park movie. As soon as we saw it, it felt like we'd

2:55 flown straight into the movie set. And in a way, we had. Tucked deep into the lush valley, this 400 ft waterfall is surrounded by towering cliffs and thick jungle. And the only way to see it up close is by air. The pilot slowed down and circled around so we could really take it in from every angle. And it

3:12 honestly gave us chills. It's wild to think that decades after the iconic helicopter landing scene, we were flying over the exact same spot. And it was just as magical in real life. Next up was Yamea Canyon State Park, often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. And as soon as we flew over it, we could

3:29 see why. The canyon stretches over 10 miles long and 3,000 feet deep with layers of red, orange, and green carved into the rugged landscape. From above, the views were absolutely jaw-dropping. We could see winding rivers at the bottom, dramatic ridges, and even a few hidden waterfalls tucked into the

3:47 cliffs. The pilot circled us around slowly, so we had plenty of time to soak it all in from both sides of the helicopter. Seeing it from the air really puts the scale into perspective. It was massive, wild, and completely breathtaking. From there, we made our way to one of the most iconic parts of

4:04 Kauaii, the Nepali coast, and it was even more stunning than we imagined. Towering sea cliffs, sharp ridges, hidden beaches, and waterfalls cascading straight into the ocean. It's the kind of view that leaves you speechless. What made this part of the flight extra special was that our pilot didn't just

4:21 fly along the coast. He actually wo us in and out between the cliffs, getting us incredibly close to the dramatic rock formations. And we didn't just pass by once. He looped us through the area multiple times, giving both sides of the helicopter plenty of chances to take it all in. It was easily one of the most

As we continued along the coast, we flew over some of Kauaii's most famous beaches, including Tunnels Beach and the stunning crescent-shaped Honlayi Bay. From above, the turquoise water, coral reefs, and golden sand looked absolutely unreal. After leaving the Northshore, we

4:57 headed inland towards Mount Wle, Kauaii's dormant shield volcano in one of the wetest places on Earth. Its massive crater known as the Weeping Wall is famous for the dozens of waterfalls that stream down its lush green cliffs thanks to the more than 450 inches of rain a year. The weather was clear enough for our pilot to hover inside the crater and slowly spin us around, giving us a full panoramic view of this magical misty waterfall-filled bowl. It was such a nice personal touch after such an adrenaline-filled experience. A few minutes before landing, he signed off so he could
