in this video we're taking a day trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon next on [Music] J hey what's up JK shers welcome back to another video here in the Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon Series today we're going on a Max tour to analou Canyon and Horseshoe Bend over here in the East rim
of the Grand Canyon in Arizona we're going to weave through Nevada to Utah to Arizona and back and forth and I'm going to give you all the details of this Max tour trip It's $249 from Las Vegas and it'll drop you off here and you return at 9:30 at night so 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 but you get to see the Grand Canyon this
is the bucket list so we're excited to check it out let's lat back to early in the morning to when I left the hotel to catch the ride good morning Jers it is 6:15 in the morning we are leaving New York New York to head over to Paris where the pickup for the max tour will be at 7:00 they suggest you come there 5
minutes early and they will leave you so make sure you get there by 655 I'll try to get there at 650 these are definitely the Walk of Shame hours in Las Vegas not too cold though so we're good to go going to walk it and hoof it all the way to the Paris for those of you that get lost easily the pickup area for Max tour
is right next to the Paris sports book this is the sports book these are the doors that go out towards the Horseshoe and the CVS this is the new verside tower you just go out these double doors and you find the max tour shuttle and you're good to go there's the CVS right there and the
max T shuttle is right over this way I have this is what we'll be traveling on today and remember the new walking bridge at the Versa tower that is where you get picked up and check in is with Jeff or whoever your driver is and your tour guide is for today and he most likely will be sitting on the bench over
here checking you in he's just giving us a few directions on what to expect for the day we're going to leave at 7:00 a.m. [Music] sharp our first stop of the morning is a pit stop at a Flying J just in front of msip Nevada we're about to hit the three
corners of Nevada Utah and Arizona so we're going to be zigzagging apparently we're going to be crossing over to Arizona for a bit then back to Nevada then to Utah right now we're taking a 10minute break here at the Flying J you go to the restroom and they do have drinks and food included and it's
unlimited is all included in the $249 for the day so so they'll open up the back trunk and you can grab Waters Coke Sprites Frappuccinos and some muffins and snacks for a little breakfast this is our tour guide Jeff setting up the breakfast here to go got a huge cooler and a bunch
of snacks like I said you got some muffins over here and uh he said don't be shy so I'm getting some of that that SS Del pretty early in the morning to get onto this tour so everybody's still groggy and waking up just like me but uh of course we had to do the first pation stop here of the day I usually wait
until the rest of the crew gets out of the restroom for me to go in just so I empty out the bladder great that they have Frappuccinos included in the tour because they're 439 over here at this truck stop there's a fellow Max tour bus right here the next b-roll you're going to see is us driving through the Virgin
River Valley a bunch of tectonic plates converging together and apparently it's a beautiful drive I've actually never been to Utah only the airport that doesn't count my first time ever in the Utah area so we are just passing Ms but this is the area I think just north of the map I'm looking at right now is
basically the three corners of Utah Nevada and Arizona on the beautiful drive along the way we passed through the valley of fire a valley filled with red rock formations where you could spend some time hiking as we crossed over to Utah we passed through the Virgin River Gorge which is a hidden
engineering Marvel the 3.8 M section cost 13.8 million back in 1973 an interstate cost per mile figure that set a record at that time after passing through St George Utah we made our way towards Bryce Canyon's entrance Pit Stop number two we are in a town called canab and it's basically the right turn you
take onto paig Arizona a lot of these towns here especially in this border of Utah and Arizona they have the first letter of the name of each town for this town you got a k for Canal weaving in and out of Pacific time and mountain time because Utah is mountain time but Arizona is still Pacific time so it was
being wonky with the clocks it was beautiful a lot of Red Rock we passed through the town of Hurrican which is the gateway to Bryce Canyon and also Zion so that was really cool to see never been to Utah before so this has been a treat every time I see a wagon wheel I keep thinking of the song hey
mama rock me rock me mama like a wagon wheel and yes I do know Bob Dylan did perform that song as well I also have taken over the stereo and been playing Eagles all the way up here another great thing about Max tour is that they're not huge busloads of tourists there's only about eight or 10 of us here in one of
these smaller more comfortable Sprinter vans it's a lot more quaint and it definitely beats be in a tour bus with like 30 to 50 people after canab we spent time on the highway just north of the Utah Arizona border where we saw breathtaking bees in the distance eventually we made our way towards Glen
Canyon National Recreation Area and to the W weep Overlook where we saw amazing views of Lake Powell and the Colorado River here at the W weep Lookout of Lake Powell and wow this is amazing water levels are sad but this is an amazing view and we're about 15 minutes away from analou
[Music] Canyon the greatest storage system on earth like neatly stacked books in a library for all you drone Flyers out there that's a no no here if I were to describe the ride over here between Utah and Arizona it would be this is my first time ever checking this out it would be
like going to the real life Cars Land that's what I described it as like if you ever been to California Adventure and seen Cars Land and that ride over there it's the real life version of it that's how it feels [Music] [Applause] [Music]
we have officially made it on to Navajo land and we are here at Ken's tours at lower Antelope Canyon now the slot canyons are tricky to maneuver through it is a sacred land that a Navajo tour guide will actually be showing you so we won't be able to take any video while we're down there you can take
photography but just not when you're on the ladders make sure you take pictures safely when you're on the ground never on a ladder and I'm excited to see this I've seen this in so many pictures and brochures and things online can't wait to see it so this is the parking lot for Lower analou Canyon they do have porta
potties and restaurant rooms on both sides really excited to check this out we're here at the gift shop of Lower analou Canyon Ken stew shout out to our tour guide he was great he knew how to take all the great picture shots I will give you a little b-roll photo collage coming up soon but if you do see

[Music] it's about 2:30 Pacific time you're going to get confused by Pacific and mountain time but right after the Slot Canyon included in the max Day Tour is the bird house lunch we get a chicken sandwich and it's already ready to go so let's go inside and try it out it's 4.7

thumbs up very juicy chicken slices in that chicken sandwich I truly enjoyed that for sure now we're off to the second main event which is Horseshoe Bend first time to ever see the Grand Canyon excited to check it out Horseshoe Bend is technically the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and is still
about 9 mi from Grand Canyon National Park but it is still considered the East rim of the Grand Canyon and you can see the Grand Canyon from miles on end from from Horseshoe Bend only about a 15minute drive from paig Arizona is Horseshoe Bend we just parked just so you guys know the restrooms are here at
the parking lot you won't find restrooms over by Horseshoe Bend which is a quarter of a mile of a hike these are your restrooms another no drone zone and make sure you take a bottle of water we got one in my uh bag here there's a picture of the famous Horseshoe Bend always seen it in photos finally we're
going to see it for the first first time make memories leave no Trace be inspired by the National Park Service Mission so don't be doing stuff like that guys welcome to horu Ben distance 1.5 mil 2.4 km round trip it's a moderate hike elevation 137 ft 41.7 M so from the parking lot we're going to take our
little hike over here and we're given an hour to check it out before we make the Trek back to Las Vegas and this is the last stop for this Max tour day trip but this is a place that I've always wanted to cross off my bucket list this Canyon is definitely Grand definitely a big hole in the earth we are getting closer
to Horseshoe B it feels more like 3/4 of a mile from the parking lot but tons of people here about 4:00 in the afternoon we'll get about a good half hour until we have to make our way back to the car and ultimately back to Vegas guys check this out there my goodness I have
[Applause] [Music] loving the terrain over here Sandstone I elect not to be near the edge of the canyon do not want to lose control but this is beautiful we lucked out on a nice sunny day so make sure you guys
check out your forecast a week or two ahead of time for you book just to make sure it doesn't rain because it's going to rain on Thursday and uh we don't want you to miss out on a beautiful day like this here at Horseshoe [Music] Ben that was crazy guys I felt like
Simba up there like this wow that was something to behold I've never seen the Grand Canyon in person before always wanted to go to Horseshoe Bend here in the East rim and it was everything I thought it was shout out to JT I'm wearing my JT shirt under this Padre hoodie it was a great picture
of a lot of cliffs without railing so be very careful one of my pieces of this tripod almost fell off the cliff so it was a really cool picturesque spot and uh yeah bring water it's March right now but I know later on in the year it gets hot but bring water you get dehydrated real quick over here and out of breath
cuz you're still up pretty high even though you are above the Grand Canyon we're going to head back to the car make our way back to Vegas and we'll finish up the video making our way back to Las Vegas we're back in the canab area so max tour actually offers multiple types of Tours you can go on this particular

and a half 2 hours or so they do give you a restroom break and you actually get to see some really nice Scenic views from Nevada to Arizona to Utah to Arizona to Nevada and you get the point we zigzag all the way through and we start over at the analou canyon and analou Canyon was great you get your
Navajo guide shout out to Nephi he was an amazing Navajo guide and he took all the best pictures as you guys saw in my video montage that lunch at birdh house that's a pretty damn good chicken sandwich I'd be lining up for that if that was here in Las Vegas very tasty love the hazy IPA and then we finally
went to Horseshoe Banda it was a bucketless item for me and it was all I ever wanted it to be it was sunny got a great pick and walked around it's a little scary there so be careful around the cliffs and around the Rocks you don't want to be falling or losing things over there and the ride home was
