Justin’s Take

This video is genuinely helpful because it shows a realistic, unrushed version of a three-stop Arizona itinerary—complete with the hikers' honest reactions and practical details about distances and effort. The travelers' enthusiasm is infectious without being over-the-top, and their guide Ernest at Antelope Slot Canyon clearly makes the experience memorable.

What I loved most was how the video captures the scale of Glen Canyon Dam by showing tiny cars and houses next to massive rock formations, and then the payoff moment at Horseshoe Bend when you finally see the iconic view. If you're planning a first Arizona trip and want to pack variety into one day, this is exactly the kind of itinerary worth following—book your canyon tour early, because spots fill fast.
