In this series, we’ll be exploring some of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural landmarks from the air, focusing on the incredible waterfalls that make the island famous.

Today’s flight features three iconic waterfalls:
- Goðafoss
- Dettifoss
- Selfoss

All of the waterfalls featured in this tour are part of the “Iceland Waterfalls” scenery add-on by CLI4D, available on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace. The add-on adds dozens of beautifully modeled waterfalls across Iceland, making helicopter exploration especially rewarding.

Although this may look like real aerial footage, the entire tour takes place inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, allowing us to experience Iceland’s rugged landscapes, volcanic terrain, and glacial rivers from a unique perspective.

This tour idea was suggested by a subscriber, and it turned into a great opportunity to begin a multi-part Iceland helicopter exploration series.

This was a relaxed scenic flight focused on enjoying the landscapes, waterfalls, and lighting conditions of northern Iceland.
