0:58 oh my gosh wow that is so cool oh my goodness  it's beautiful i can't believe we're here   good morning everyone and welcome to  stavanger as you would have seen in the intro   we have been sailing the last day on our way  from southampton to our first stop here in norway   and it's day three so i am so excited to see what  norway has in offer but it is very early at 7am

1:43 i thought i set my alarm for 7 am but my phone  switched back automatically to uk time or an hour   ahead here in norway so it's actually half past  eight great so we're meeting the team that we're   doing our first excursion with and nine a.m and i  just want to put on some makeup and get ready this  

2:05 bathroom is so beautiful if you haven't seen the  first vlog go and watch it to see a tour of our   conservatory mini suite that we're staying in yeah  i slept so well that's the second night i've slept   so so well it's just like very slight rocking  it just sends me off to this like beautiful deep  

2:22 sleep but yes i'm so excited about our excursions  today we are doing a walking tour with a guide and   lunch is included then we're doing a boat ride  to a field that i don't know how to pronounce   yet so i'll ask the guide and then we're  going to pulpit rock which i think is very  

2:43 famous and popular to do in stavanger and then  we'll get back on the ship and tonight we're   going to the limelight club which is one of the  restaurants on board that you can pay a little bit   extra for but you get three course dinner and a  show and then tomorrow we'll be going to alden and  

3:00 showing you more of norway in this vlog so that  is exciting so you can actually book your short   excursions from 365 days right up until three  days before your cruise and you can do it in the   back end of your booking on the piano website  which is great and i had a little look for myself

5:28 in different countries and different places around  the world 16 17 is a very different temperature i   know it's really hard to get right we have coats  in our bags yeah so i literally have a jacket and   shorts just in case i have no idea don't know what  we're gonna need i'm looking forward to it yeah  

5:45 it's gonna be a big dream lovely yeah old school  hotels on the seafront there or the port side   yeah i'm in the grand atrium just waiting to do  our tour and i just thought i'd show you the view   we are literally right on the street here like  i always assumed most cruise ports were you know  

6:04 a little bit of a walk or a drive away but we are  right here so people are getting off and exploring   there are 170 white wooden homes that are nestled  in the cobbled streets and they are the original   homes and they are private people live there um  which i think blows my mind that they then have  

6:23 a massive cruise ship docked right outside  there's also a 12th century cathedral in   the historic center lots of shops charming cafes  and bars and there's two michelin star eateries   here in stavanger so great if you're a foodie  and lots of fresh and authentic flavors of norway  

6:41 so yeah this is an amazing little stop or the  first stop amazing place to come so very excited   so we've got some little croissants while we wait  for our ex a tour excursion i've got a cinnamon   bun which um one of my friends told me to try  it looks a little strange on the top there but  

6:58 it's a norwegian cinnamon bun it's meant to  be amazing and benji's just got a croissant   but i'm terry and our driver today is ana  and we make a few photos for you of course   on the way out to the coast where we're gonna  have lunch so first of all i will take you up   just so you know what old town look like and  that is right around the corner from here  

7:20 new town and old town next to each other here used  to be old factories there were nothing new anymore thank you

7:53 that's what it would have  looked like right out here so we've just finished having lunch in  this gorgeous spot in this restaurant  

8:21 this was part of the tour shopping for lunch  the food was amazing had beef wellington as   you would have seen and the tartan the fruits  was just delicious but yeah it's beautiful here   what do you think of us gorgeous  i think i'm saying it wrong by the   way because i just heard uh scott  says stavan stabenger no it's just

10:25 uh just come back from our boat tour and  as we were on this side there were two   really cute little souvenir shops and i collect  pins as some of you will know if you watched the   last vlog i already have my piano pins but we've  just found this very cute one let me show you it's  

10:50 got the little houses how cute is that we went to  the place called the house of norway over there   no we didn't we went that way oh yeah that was it  oh sorry it's that one we went into and this is a   lovely bit of art on the wall isn't it look  at that oh there we go we're back on board  

11:09 i love this grand atrium and we've  just spotted a very lovely balcony area   and we thought we were going to take a picture wow  look how pretty all the little white houses are   it's really cool seeing them from up here i'm just  so surprised that we're able to dock just so close  

11:30 to the town it's very very pretty this is who  we're seeing at the limelight club tonight lee   mead he's a tv and west end star and oh this  looks good too i've just been finishing some   work and now it's almost seven o'clock and i'm  just getting ready for dinner this dress that i'm  

11:48 wearing this evening with the same hills i wore  last night is from monsoon i got this in the sale   a few months ago i really like it yeah it's just  a nice little midi dress perfect for the limelight   club i do have some dresses that are a little bit  more oops casuals so that i'll wear with tights  

12:06 and flats these ones and then i have more dressy  ones and i think that served me really well having   three dressy three sort of more casual so yeah  that works really well but i guess it depends on   where you're going like epicurean when we go there  on friday i think is a little bit more dressy so  

12:21 i'll wear one of the dressy ones obviously and  then the boat at the beach house is obviously a   bit more casual so anyways hello this is a nice  shirt we got this last week my mum did yeah she   said that's a very bungee shirt she did good so we  bought it for him when we were shopping last week  

12:39 it's from zara um yeah i'm really excited to go to  the limelight club i'll show you exactly what it's   like oh wow it's a bit choppier now and it is  you still can't feel it but you can hardly feel   us moving because we came here and we decided  to take a picture that you can really notice it  

12:54 yeah especially when we're upside down the waves  kind of just look shimmery yeah we're a bit close   to here yeah because we're on deck six here  yeah right we're going to the limelight club this is the menu so you get a starter main and  dessert for 35 pounds per person and the show  

13:20 and we're at the back here but we  still have a really lovely view   it's a really great space and yeah everyone's  got their seats facing towards the stage   yeah it's lovely isn't it really really nice  they've got a nice drinks menu as well so we're   looking at some of the cocktails they do a lemon  drizzle spritz and they also do a vanilla and a  

13:43 salted caramel espresso martini which sounds like  a bit of me but i actually quite like the idea of   this non-alcoholic one down here it's a raspberry  and almond baked well so i think i'm gonna go for   that first and then see how i feel benji and i  are gonna go for exactly the same thing on our um  

13:58 meal so we're gonna have the ham hop to start the  sea bass for our main and probably the chocolate   bomb for dessert down the bottom there yeah sea  bass there we are gonna have the zoo rose yeah   and i still want to try the bakewell thing as well  we are playing rummy while we wait for everyone to  

14:18 arrive basically look at your little face so in  just a few minutes you'll be saved you started   and then after that myself and the resident  band will come up and sing a few songs just   just to get you in the mood for the plan himself  and after we're finished you'll be served your

17:10 we've just come back from the limelight club  seeing lee mead it was very good it exceeded   my expectations and i thought it was going to  be good i will say i wasn't expecting to eat   our meal for two hours and then he comes on i  don't know why i did think that we'd be eating  

17:25 and listening to him but actually otherwise we'd  have to eat in the dark wouldn't we yeah and also   you do want to just sort of enjoy it well yeah  just to focus on him whether rather than just like   enjoy you know fixing on your food he was so  good so talented he'd like to tell a little  

17:41 story of each song he had a personal reason why  yeah either auditioned for the part or obviously   you did a couple of joseph numbers and wicked and  i didn't actually know who he was but he's done a   lot of like musical theater yeah i don't know he  did chicago of him i knew that obviously about the  

17:58 show that he was on i knew that he would run shows  but i haven't seen him in a show i don't think   he's done 600 joseph shows um but it was like  2007. he said so he also did adele tom jones um i loved my sea bass yours tasted good it tasted  like a roast dinners in there yeah it really is

19:50 your breakfast coming at brazilian house yeah  we ordered it to the room we could do a little   room service some of the other guys who said  that they've done it the last couple of days   especially when we got me up at nine or out we've  already gone at nine yeah i gotta meet the gang  

20:04 at nine because we're doing yoga this morning  yeah they have just delivered our breakfast   this is such a good idea and we can just watch  the world go by look at those mountains i can   actually open all these doors when i am fully  dressed i'm in my yoga gear at the moment so  

20:22 i i'm just going to take some nice pictures of  this for instagram i'm using my new little piano   cruises mug that i bought in the gift shop  the other day we've had our breakfast and   i am in my lululemon leggings and we're trying  to pack up because we're going to see a glacier  

20:38 after we have done yoga so that's very  exciting oh my water bottle need that   stick that in the side got my hat we're ready  to go welcome to alden wow tonight you want to   go skiing again it does i'm not gonna lie  especially this weather it's like cold how   close the snow is to the sea level i know it's  crazy isn't it i love it how amazing is this

21:04 big kids at the back of the bus  but we're crew with the sides of   the fjords at the small center we got here  and in the valley we have right ahead of us

21:45 do we just finished our class how did you find  it you only embraced it i'm definitely built   for power rather than flexibility for me  doing that in the mountains i love yoga yeah  

22:14 so you can hear this trivial stream outside and  you can't replicate it no and the sun coming   through these windows i honestly basically fell  asleep at the very end the relaxation he hit the   gone and the noise was amazing and the warmth of  my skin yeah i really enjoyed it the water setting  

22:33 that rock was six thousand but it landed about  six thousand years ago wow this is beautiful   this space is amazing the family so frank and  his partner his partner um has had family here   for 15 or 16 generations so that's what  like between 300 and 400 years how quickly   yeah it was absolutely beautiful it is bookable  as an excursion if you're doing a piano cruise  

23:01 i would 100 do this again for me it was just very   soothing calming and i think for me being in  norway is all about like that peacefulness nature yeah really nice so the bus has just dropped us  here at a national park and we're sorry i'm worn   out because i had to run and get some footage run  onto the bus i'm not gonna lie i'm all zenned out  

23:26 from yoga it was incredible but it's nice and  fresh and we're gonna walk 45 minutes to see   a glacier can i get my walk on then just  pack snacks guys if any of you have seen   frozen which i'm assuming most of you have  benji said the rocks remind me of the trolls   which is really funny because obviously  frozen was based arendelle was based on  

23:48 norway wasn't it yeah it does look like the rocks  yeah it looks looks like the trolls guys i'm   struggling is really steep and some of our group  are very fast i wish i'd left my bag in the car

24:25 we look like we've made it to  the top but we're apparently yes   nowhere near we've lost our group so um we're a  bit slower and taking pictures everywhere i think   they've just gonna hike to the top where are we  we got pictures we're just trying to take it all   in but we do have to be back for the next they  don't know about the controller you can do that  

24:43 they don't um we'll keep going  and see how far we can get but   eventually they're going to turn around and yeah  embarrass us i'm just in awe to be honest at how   stunning it is looks like a postcard i had  this feeling when i went to yosemite as well   you just can't capture it really on camera you  have to come and do it and see it i would say  

25:02 this is a fairly uh moderate hike but there's  people of all ages and abilities seem to be   giving it a go because apparently it's  well worth it when you get to the top so   let's keep going the life of them getting the  instagrams i have changed into a different t-shirt   because i bought this really cute t-shirt on roxy  and it says adventure start in the mountains and  

25:25 i just thought that was so cute but it's nice  here because it's flat i like yeah and we can   see the glacier beautifully from here and the  bird's chirping and just hear the stream stream this is all right in there absolutely amazing  i just wish we had bonnie girl with us   i'll absolutely complete it wouldn't it i can't  really love it we've got i've got hats and gloves  

25:50 in the bag i've got another jumper just to go over  this one yeah and my jacket to go over my puffer   jacket i would say if you're planning on doing  this in the summer or this hike in particular   then just have layers and pack  light yeah now that benji said it   all i can see are the trolls the frozen ones look

26:14 benji's just chatting behind me but i couldn't  talk when we were down at the glacier because it   was too windy and i don't have a microphone with  me but you saw it it was beautiful i'm really glad   we made it i would say that that is a moderate  to harder hike but depends on your fitness level  

26:30 obviously it was a little bit steep but it then  flattened out for quite a bit it they told us it   would take 45 minutes i think it's a took benjamin  i well over an hour but we did stop and take   photos so i don't know maybe an hour and a half  but then apparently it's gonna be quick on the  

26:44 way back obviously because it's downhill because  i ski as well i love skiing i just love being   in the mountains i just think there's something  so majestic about the mountains seeing the snow   with the sun and you can just see the clouds above  it's just incredible we are almost at the bottom

28:27 had a quick shower and on the way back we actually  stopped at ripples the gelato ice cream stand   and i'm going to show you on screen we bought  these they were salted caramel mini cones and   they were filled with ice cream covered in  white chocolate with a little wafer cone on  

28:42 the end and it was the perfect little treat we  came back ate them out here and just yeah it   was just great so would recommend they are an  additional charge but you know when you're like   i need a really good ice cream right now i  deserved it after that big hike now we're   gonna go and do an experience that is and again  another excursion that's bookable with piano  

29:01 cruises it's the crayfishing rib ride i'm looking  forward to it be interesting to see like how the   sausage is made how the crayfish  has made can't think sausage yeah and and um we keep hearing the obviously all  the fish here in norway is just like trout cod   salmon anything that's tasty anything that's tasty  yeah um so we're gonna see how it's cool and then

31:16 find myself we finished our crayfish experience it  was very tasty actually i've never had   crayfish before you want to go in the soup  quickly how long have we got eight minutes we're gonna look for an olden pin that was  a really good excursion i really enjoyed it  

31:45 yeah it was lovely to go for a ride out on the  rib i would recommend doing that excursion in   the morning and having that for lunch because  we actually do have dinner at half past seven   tonight and it's half past five nearly the  lovely people down down this side are waving  

32:00 and they're singing sailing away the guy that  served my crayfish yeah they're blasting it   through some speakers bye eldon it's been  fun gorgeous here isn't it i really love   it here i think the glacier today was maybe  one of my highlights and she went and got us there's so many people in their balcony

32:38 um we are going to go for a drink and then go out  for our meal we have booked to see john clegg   the comedian at 8 30. so we're going to try and  make it a finalist or a winner on britain's let's   handle a few years ago yes he does impressions  um again we probably won't be able to film him  

33:00 but we'll still show you so that's what we're  doing how it was yes benji walked past the   flowers in the um conservatory and it stained his  shirt so he can't wear this one sadly round two   let's give it a go that looks nice too i do  like this brownie i don't want this shirt  

33:19 i think no it is new we got it in um hollister  yeah shame about this one but we'll get we will i have ordered the sweet potato and mozzarella  crispy skin they sound good they do sound good   and then i've also got the lava salt  block prime fillet steak with grilled  

33:45 king prawns and a baked potato that sounds fun  it's what i ordered on the last two cruises   and it comes out and it sort of like books on this  hot plate i think it's the same thing right it   sounds like the same thing um and the desserts  all sound amazing they've definitely changed  

33:59 the menu since we lost eight here the beach  house is on most if not all the pilot cruises the menu is really good there is  a cover charge of 750 per person   there are things are included or you can pay  extra so the stake i'm having is five pound extra   um so actually it's really really good value  for money kind of looks like the horizon buffet  

34:28 in terms of the um feel of the restaurant so it is  a bit more casual here but yeah it's just really   really nice so and you're having the nachos  your nachos and then the honey glazed chicken   yeah i can't wait to try something and  this is our beautiful evening isn't it

36:26 looks sort of like a train rush a chain restaurant  looks like it's really well done it's so good   i really like it this menu is very honest yeah i  agree it's very ugly like you could just randomize   the menu and give you whatever and i don't  have it same same like it all right we've  

36:47 got the chocolate waffle the apple pie and the  banana split and we're going to try them all   the cream okay we weren't a  massive fan of the banana split   i don't know what it was it was missing  something i couldn't work out one i think   it was missing a bit of toffee to  make it a bit more banafa maybe yeah  

37:13 the chocolate waffle was okay the waffle was very  dry so we used some of this on top of the waffle   and the mousse is just very sickly it was a bit  too heavy for us on there but we still ate it   yeah but the apple pie apple had no evidence of  the apple pie there that was brilliant yeah so

37:34 you want the recommendation that's it that's  the pie apple pie um but there we go we did try   them all for you so well three of them also it's  quarter past eight and look how nice it is outside   it is really blue it looks like  it's four o'clock in the afternoon   crazy this might sound silly but the  toilets all around the ship are so nice  

37:59 you've got all these little cubicles  and hand towels big mirrors love it   loved them at the beach house really great venue  really nice atmosphere good food would recommend   the steak loved my starter as well the potato  skins and the apple pie was the best dessert   and the cocktail was good too so yeah now we're  going to the headliners theater tonight we're  

38:22 seeing john clegg who's comedian look at this you  can just watch the fields as you sail pass because   having all that glass means you can see all the  mountains this atrium is perfect for this setting   yeah oh this is a nice little walkway isn't it   we didn't come in this way last time  the seats are so comfortable here and

39:48 clever this stage where you can see over the pool  it moves along so it moves for the show it comes   together very very clever they had a big oh there  it is a big bird um inside the egg thing nest   there and yeah it was just really clever there  were like how many birds like six maybe eight hey  

40:07 there was quite a few it was one of those shows  that would suit anyone any age like kids would   love it we enjoyed it we had nana sat to our right  and we had probably seven eight-year-old girls at   times yeah so anyone can see it really good and  they do it like three times a night which i'm
