What to Know Before Booking Your Las Vegas Helicopter Tour

  • Noise level: The aircraft is loud, so communication during flight is difficult; don't expect to hold a conversation or record clear audio commentary
  • Physical sensations: Wind and rotor noise can be disorienting and may affect your hair and comfort; the presenter noted feeling nervous beforehand but found the actual experience amazing
  • Seating assignments: Passengers are assigned seat numbers before boarding (the presenter was number one), and front seats offer the best sightseeing positions
  • Pre-flight perks: Complimentary champagne is served before departure, adding a celebratory touch to the experience
  • Safety protocols: Strict boarding rules apply—no photographs during the walk to the helicopter, no raising your arms, and crew assistance with seatbelts; follow all staff directions carefully
  • Timing: Evening flights showcase the Las Vegas Strip's illuminated lights, making it an ideal time for visibility and photography from the air

Justin’s Take

This video is genuinely helpful because it doesn't oversell the experience or hide the downsides. The presenter is honest about the noise, the wind, the small cabin, and the disorientation—yet she also makes clear why those things are worth enduring. You see real safety procedures, real seating assignments, real pre-flight champagne, and an unfiltered reaction that feels trustworthy.

What I appreciated most was the front-seat perspective and the candid moment where she admits that nervousness beforehand didn't matter once they took off. If you're deciding whether to spend the money on a Las Vegas helicopter tour, this video gives you everything you need to say yes with confidence.
