What to Expect on Legend of the Seas: A Complete Ship Walkthrough
This comprehensive tour of Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas gives you a deck-by-deck preview of everything you'll find onboard one of the world's largest cruise ships. The video walks through every neighborhood, pool area, restaurant, bar, entertainment venue, family zone, and quiet retreat, plus cabin details—so you know exactly what to expect before you step aboard. If you're booked on Legend of the Seas or considering it, this guide shows you the full scope of the ship's offerings without the guesswork.
Legend of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean's Icon class, which means it's enormous and packed with choices. The ship is built with one idea in mind: offering something for everyone in the family. Whether you're a parent managing multiple ages, a couple seeking both action and relaxation, or a solo traveler looking for community or solitude, this ship has dedicated spaces and activities designed for your style. The sheer variety can feel overwhelming at first, but understanding the ship's layout and neighborhoods beforehand makes your sailing far more enjoyable.
Key Moments
Key Highlights of Legend of the Seas
Chill Island pool deck with five distinct pools: Royal Bay Pool (the largest), Swimatonic (adults-only swim-up bar), Cove Pool (side-of-ship views), and Cloud 17 (a lesser-known deck 17 pool with fewer crowds)
Elco Fresh—a customizable Tex-Mex restaurant where you build tacos, burritos, and quesadillas your way at a toppings bar, included in cruise fare
Thrill Island on decks 16–17, an action-packed water park and activity zone with slides and recreational games
Multiple hot tubs throughout the pool deck, available free to all guests, many with ocean views
Sprinkles ice cream parlor (soft-serve vanilla, chocolate, and swirl, included in your cruise fare)
Cantina Fresco bar, offering a wide selection of premium tequilas and margaritas paired with Elco Fresh dining
What to Know Before Boarding Legend of the Seas
Pool seating strategy: The Icon class spreads seating across multiple deck levels, reducing crowding compared to older Royal Caribbean ships. Even if you board late in the day, you're likely to find an available lounge chair somewhere on the ship.
Cassitas (day beds): If you prefer guaranteed reserved seating with shade and waiter service, rental day beds (cassitas) are available for a fee and include complimentary bottled water and snacks.
Chill Island vs. Thrill Island: Chill Island is designed for relaxation with live music, drinks, and laid-back activities; Thrill Island is the high-energy zone with water slides and active games. Know which vibe you want before choosing where to spend your day.
Drink packages: If you plan more than two or three cocktails from specialty bars like Lime and Coconut, consider purchasing a Royal Caribbean drink package to maximize value.
Apps and daily activities: Check the Royal Caribbean app for tournament schedules, live entertainment times, and activity listings throughout the day so you don't miss what interests you.
Hidden gems: Cloud 17 pool on deck 17 is less crowded because many guests don't know it exists; the Cove Pool offers unique side-of-ship views; Elco Fresh is near Base Camp, allowing you to easily grab food from both locations.
Common Questions About Legend of the Seas
Is Legend of the Seas truly one of the world's largest cruise ships?
Yes. Legend of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean's Icon class, the line's newest and most advanced class of ships. It's comparable to the latest version of a flagship product—not fundamentally different from earlier Icon ships, but noticeably a step up in amenities and design.
What's the difference between Swimatonic and the other pools?
Swimatonic is adults-only (18+) and combines a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, allowing you to enjoy drinks while in the water. The other pools on Chill Island serve all ages and emphasize different experiences: Royal Bay is the largest for general swimming, Cove offers side-view ocean scenery, and Cloud 17 provides a quieter, less-crowded alternative on a higher deck.
Are meals and ice cream included in the cruise fare?
Yes. Elco Fresh (the Tex-Mex restaurant), Sprinkles ice cream, and most other dining venues throughout the ship are included in your cruise fare. Specialty bars like Lime and Coconut and Cantina Fresco sell cocktails and premium drinks separately, though you can also order mocktails.
How much seating is actually available on the pool deck?
Chill Island features extensive lounge-chair seating spread across multiple deck levels, plus whimsical seating arrangements throughout. The Icon class design philosophy prioritizes ample seating to reduce the "chair-hogging" issue common on older ships, making it realistic to find a seat even if you head to the pool at midday.
Are there quiet or family-specific areas on the ship?
Yes. Chill Island is the quieter, more relaxed neighborhood; Swimatonic and the adult-only hot tub offer adult-only retreats; Cloud 17 is naturally less crowded because of its higher deck location. Meanwhile, Thrill Island caters to families and active travelers. The ship is designed so different guest types have dedicated spaces.
This video is invaluable because cruising an Icon class ship can feel overwhelming without a roadmap. The detailed walkthrough removes that uncertainty by showing you exactly where everything is, how the neighborhoods differ, and which spaces match your travel style. Rather than wandering the ship on your first day guessing where things are, you arrive with a mental map.
What I appreciated most was the focus on both the headline attractions (pools, restaurants, bars) and the hidden gems (Cloud 17, the Cove Pool views, the strategic placement of Elco Fresh near Base Camp). The balance between high-energy zones like Thrill Island and calm retreats like Chill Island is clearly explained, and the seating-abundance observation is genuinely reassuring for travelers who worry about finding space on large ships. If you're sailing on Legend of the Seas, this walkthrough is essential viewing.

If you're booked on Legend of the Seas or you're thinking about booking one, you've come to the right place. I'm taking you on a complete walkthrough of Royal Caribbean's big ship. So, by the end of this video, you'll know exactly what to expect before you ever step on board. We're not just talking walking
past the highlights. I'm going to show you every neighborhood, every pool deck, the restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, family areas, quiet spots, cabins, and all the little details that are easy to miss when you're actually on vacation. Because here's the thing about the Icon class. They're enormous. And
Legend of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean's most impressive cruise ships. Because this ship offers so much to do. Being an Icon class ship, it can almost feel overwhelming how many choices you have on board. But trust me, after your first sailing, it's going to feel so much better. And this video, I
think, will help you understand it a lot more. Ever since Icon of the Seas redefined what we expect from a modern cruise ship, Rilgrim has been hard at work to make it even better. Legend of the Seas is the third in this class, which means it's a lot like the latest iPhone. It's not fundamentally different than the
past couple of versions, but you instantly know it's a step up from what you had before. This ship was built with one idea in mind. Offer the best things on one ship, so everyone in the family has an amazing time. Now, I've been on Legend of the Seas, and I'm sharing now with you what you can expect because
it's incredible. What matters about this cruise ship is there's something for everyone in your family. It's uncompromising, has more than you could ever do in a week, and even visit some amazing places. One of the biggest outdoor neighborhoods on Legend of the Seas is Chill Island.
And despite the name, this isn't just a place to sit around and do nothing. This is really the heart of the pool deck. If you picture yourself spending a day swimming, grabbing a drink, listening to live music, or just soaking up the Caribbean or Mediterranean sun, there's a good chance you'll end up right over
here. So, let's take a look around. Starting with the Royal Bay Pool. Royal Bay Pool is the big pool. So, Royal Caribbean decided to break up the pool deck rather have like one giant pool. They have a lot of different pools, but Royal Bay Pool is the closest thing to a giant pool you're going to find. It's
the biggest and the deepest pool on Legend of the Seas. Man, it's big, so there's a lot of space around it. and it's the de facto closest to a normal pool you're going to find on here. You also have hot tubs and this is one of many hot tubs you'll find all around. But what I love about this area is the
comfy city. Check this out. This looks incredible. I mean they're lounger short but I mean sign me up for whatever these are cuz I want to just lay down here in the shade preferably and have a drink in hand and some music and I'm good. [music] But Royal Bay Pool is one of many pools we're going to find here
within Chill Island. There's a lot here. Swimming tonic. All right, this might be the pool I'll be at all day long. Swimatonic is actually adults only, 18 years old and older only. It's a swim up bar. How cool is this spot? So, it's a pool and a swim up bar. And obviously, you can go right up to the bar, sit at
the bar, back away from the bar, and lounge. It is a really fun idea. And there is just something so great about a swim up bar because it just adds a different element to it. I mean, you're in the water, but you're enjoying drinks at the same time, so you don't get overly hot. Unless of course you're in
the hot tub, which is right near the swimming tonic, also adults only, and just a neat area for adults to relax and enjoy because you got some decent views out here. But I really think when you're swimming tonic, it's about the atmosphere of being in a bar and a pool at the same time. Cove Pool is off to
the side, and Cove Pool is about the views more than anything else. Because it's on the side of the ship, it allows you to be in the pool and enjoy views of what's around you. If you're at the ocean or perhaps your ship is docked in port or just near land passing by, you have all those views from the cove pool
and it's a little bit of a hidden gem because it's a little bit off to the side, easily overlooked. And the Cove pool can be a great spot. Now, the Cove Pool, by the way, is for all ages just like the Royal Bay Pool was. It was just that one that wasn't swimming. Cloud 17 is on deck 17. It's similar to Cove
Pool, except it's on a different deck. So, it's on deck 17 and also offers views on the other side of the ship. And what's great about this pool is it's a little less busy because a lot of people don't even know it exists because it's on deck 17. But I love going up here because it's a lot less crowded. It has
these infinity pool views off to the side. Absolutely [music] amazing. Near Cloud 17, there's a lot of seating. In general, I think Roy has done a great job with seating all around the ship. There's a lot of seating around the pool. And on deck 17 near the Cloud 17 pool area, there's even more seating.
So, got to walk around a little bit. I'm sure you'll find something. Now, the Lime and Coconut is available throughout the pool deck in Chill Island. So, the Lime Coconut is a tropical pool bar, and you're going to find it on a variety of different decks here. They all have the same menu. It's just different locations
offer the same thing cuz you don't have one bar, you have many bars. And they offer some great cocktails here. Goombbe Smash, the [music] actually lime and coconut drink, which is absolutely fantastic. I like it a lot. Uh, in fact, if you're going to probably spend more than like two or
three drinks here, you probably should consider a Royal Caribbean drink pack. You take advantage of maybe the mocktails or the cocktails you can enjoy. They also have beers and panina coladas, things like that. But definitely check out the lime and coconut menu because that's a specialized menu with special drinks.
You can only get at the lime coconut. It's a great pool day activity, I guess you want to call it that, but a way to, you know, splurge and enjoy the drinks that are there. Now, in addition to lime coconut, there's also actually a frozen bar at the Lime Coconut. So, here's the thing. Lime and Coconut and generally
pool bars in general, they call people who want to have a daquiri, right? Whether it's a hurricane, [music] a painkiller, mango, strawberry daiquiri, they've got a dedicated spot to crank them out as fast [music] as possible. If you're in the mood for a daquiri or in a pin colada, this is the place to go cuz
you'll have it [music] in no time flat. And you can have them for mocktails if you've got people who don't want to drink or you got kids or they can add alcohol obviously. [music] Ask for Kraken rum to go with it. It's really good. There's also seating nearby the frozen bar and it's often times in the
shade and there's a good breeze usually coming through here. [music] So, this is a great spot to sit, relax, enjoy that drink you just ordered [music] and fight off the brain freeze that'll be coming with it. But there you go. Now, there are hot tubs throughout the pool deck as I mentioned and we're not going to go
through every single one. Some are more ornate than others. Some are cooler looking than others, but they're all pool deck hot tubs and they're all available for you to use and there's no cost to them just like the pools in general. So, you know, kind of explore and find your favorites. So, the good
news about a ship this big is you have so much variety, not just of, you know, what to do, but also places to hang out [music] and in this case, chill and relax and the hot tubs. Some of them have amazing views. Some are more ornate. Anyway, next up is Elcoh. I got to tell you, ladies and gentlemen, I
love Elco Freshes. I mean, it's Mexican food, Texmex food. It is so good. I mean, tacos, burritos, okay, not bad, right? But what makes this place so good is you can customize it exactly the way you want because you grab the taco, the quesadilla, the burrito, the tortilla chips, and then you go over to the
toppings bar and you load that bad boy up exactly the way you want it. Now, my wife would just put some cheese on it and that's it. Me, I take it as a challenge of humanity to load it up with as much salsa, pico deayo, guacamole, beans, hot sauce, you name it, I load that. I love it. I mean, it's just so
good. I'm watching this video now as we're recording this narration and I'm hungry. This is all included in your cruise fair. No cost little side hack for you. Elco Fresh is really nearby base camp which we'll see later in this video and you can easily bring the food back and forth and load up on both.
There's also Cantina Fresco which is right near Elcoh. This is the bar of Eloc basically. Great spot for margaritas and also more varied tequilas. If you're a tequila connoisseur, we should be friends. And second of all, there's a lot more variety here at Kina Fresa than you'll find at other bars. So if you're really
into some high-end tequilas, this is the spot for it. But man, I love Elcoesh. [music] It is so darn good. You'll also find within Chill Island Sprinkles ice cream. So this is the soft serve ice cream you can have throughout the day and it's included in your cruise fair. It's basically vanilla, chocolate, and
swirl. But because it's included in your cruise fair, I mean, the price is right, so why not? You'll also find ping pong tables in Chill Island. What's great is they're kind of enclosed so the wind doesn't like mess with your game as much. Usually ping pong tables are out on like open decks and you know they go
flying. Anyway, this is better for ping pong games. Most of them are just free play, but there are tournaments throughout the day as well. So check the rollerine app for that. Roller also added a slide to get between deck 15 and 16 or 16 and 15 I suppose. And why did they add a slide in there? Why not
should they not have a slide in there? I mean it's about having fun and so they offer this option. Yes, adults can go in there as well. So, if Hannah wants to go with her dad, Dan. Well, good luck, Dan. Enjoy that. Now, there's lots of seating all around Chill Island. And most of it
are lounge chairs, but you can see there's some more whimsical seings, and they're all first come, first serve, grab one. I mean, is there a chair hog issue? Sure, every cruise ship has that, but I really do believe in my heart of hearts that the amount of seating that's available on an Icon class ship like
Legend of the Seas makes it so that even if you roll out of bed at 12:30 p.m. like my oldest daughter would probably do, you could probably find a seat somewhere. Man, that'd be like the primum spot, but anyway, they have them there as well. But if you're interested in throwing money at the problem, there
are cassitas you can rent. So, cassitas are day beds you can rent for the day. As you can see here, it includes not only a day bed and a place to sit, but also a little bit of cover and also service as well. Not only is this space reserved for you throughout the day, but you also get waiter service. Comes with
complimentary bottled water and I believe a, you know, welcome a here snack and whatnot. But really, it's about reserving a spot just for you and your family. The only issue I have with the cassitas is there's not a lot of shade because there's no walls to it. But it is a reserved seat and for some
people out there, they absolutely love it. One thing I really like about the Icon class ships is that the pool decks don't feel as crowded as they do on some older Royal Caribbean ships. The space is spread across multiple levels, which gives everybody a little more room to move around instead of feeling packed
together. Throughout the day, you'll hear live music, pool games, and other activities happening here, but it usually doesn't feel overwhelming. It's energetic enough to be fun without having the party atmosphere that you'll find, as we'll find here in Thrill Island in just a little bit. Chill
Island is designed to be the place where most guests naturally gather during a warm sea day and really a great spot for enjoying just that. Next up is Thrill Island on deck 16 and 17. This is the water park extravaganza. Everything you want to do on board the ship activity-wise, you're probably
going to find it here on Thrill Island. I mean, the name implies there's a lot to do, including a lot of thrills. As you're about to see, there are a lot of activities and pretty much everything we're going to see here is going to be included in your cruise fair, which is amazing. Starting with category 6 water
[music] park. That's right, category 6 because there are six different water slides included here to try. Most of them are raft slides. There are a couple of body slides, but the idea here is to enjoy as many times as you'd like to to go down the water slides. Now, here's a pro tip for these water slides. They're
very popular. So really what you want to do is either go on them on embarcation day as soon as you get on board the ship just head straight there or maybe on a port day come back early or skip excursion altogether and enjoy some time on the slides with much less of a line. But these slides will be open every day
of your cruise. And whether there's a line or not, they're available to choose from. [music] And again, these are pretty fast slides, pretty fun slides as well. Nearby, we have the Flow Rider surf [music] simulator. This is where you can try to stand up surf on board. In fact, you'll start off with more
boogie boarding or body boarding, [music] and as you start to progress with your skills after a couple different wipeouts, I'm sure you'll be able to graduate to actually stand up surfing. Now, what you're seeing here is someone who's done a lot of standup surfing. If you were like me, you would attempt to
try to stand up and then immediately fall in your face, but that's part of the fun of the rider, or so, I'm told by people who enjoy this kind of stuff, but it's available for you. The flow rider has no cost, but there are private and group lessons you can purchase for an additional cost that gives you just more
time. Otherwise, it's simply just get in line and wait your turn. Next here is Lost Dunes. And Lost Dunes is one of the more subtle changes between Legend of the Seas and some of the earlier icon class ships. I mean, it's mostly just theme and aesthetic here, but there's more of a different look to it that you
have at Lost Dunes. This is a mini golf course after all. It's supposed to be fun and whimsical and, you know, more than just like, hey, here's, you know, eight holes to go golf at. This is an idea to make it creative, fun. And the idea here is, of course, you're in Thrill Island, Lost Students, like it's
been here for a while and you're playing golf around all these abandoned things. You know, it's not supposed to be scary or anything like that. Just fun and something that kind of evokes a little more emotion obviously among kids, but I do recommend going there in the evening. It's fun and free. Sports court is
located up on I guess this is deck 17, but this is your multi-purpose sports court area. In the morning, it's often used for pickle ball. in the afternoon. It could be volleyball, it could be tennis, it could be basketball, it could be soccer, it could be dodgeball. There's a lot of different activities
that are performed here. All of it is basically including your cruiser at no additional cost. Simply show up, wait your turn, and go for it. I mean, the sports court is a place to go for a lot of that, you know, physical activity. People really do enjoy it quite a bit. Right below the sports court is base
camp. And this is probably one of my favorite hidden gems here on Legend of the Seas because this is an included restaurant that has some great food. Vastly underrated food in fact. And you can find it here at Base Camp. So Base Camp offers things like warm pretzels, tater tots, hot dogs, chicken fingers,
and a smash burger. All of it is really good. The smash burger and the tater tots alone. Fantastic. Pretzel bites. Oh yeah. I mean it's great. It's grab and go. You can eat them, you know, right here quickly. I mean, the idea here is that you can, you know, have a quick stack and then hit Thrill Island again.
There is a bar towards the back of base camp where you can get a drink. Obviously, the drinks here do cost extra just like any bar on Legend of the Seas, but [music] this is an available option for you. It's more convenient spot because really Thrill Island doesn't have a lot of food or drink nearby. So,
base camp was added here so that there's a convenient option to be able to stay hydrated, fed, and then back out to the action. But maybe parents, this is just a good spot in the shade to watch your family do whatever they're doing while you enjoy time away from the sun. Next, we have Deserted. Deserted is a
milkshake bar. This does cost extra, and there are different kinds of milkshakes available. Now, if you have the drink package, the base milkshakes are what's included here, but they have very, very creative milkshakes you can get to that have all sorts of crazy concoctions. In fact, when it comes to the milkshakes,
you can actually get alcoholic uh milkshakes here as well for the adults, but they've got all sorts of crazy toppings. I mean, it's meant to be an over-the-top milkshake bar. And listen, [music] if you're looking to get, you know, gummy bears and sour patch kids and a piñata on top of your milkshake, that's
what you got here at Dessert. It does cost extra, but for some people, I mean, sometimes you're just in the mood for that kind of a thing. Another activity that does cost extra is Crown's Edge. Crowd's Edge is like a ropes course type experience. I mean, the idea here is basically you dawn one of these special
suits, get up there, and then walk literally over the edge of the ship. I mean, there's an obstacle course involved with it, and then towards the end, it becomes this well, it's supposed to be a surprise, but we're spoiling it here. Uh, a a zipline, if you will, that goes over the edge of the ship. It's
pretty cool. You know, part of it is just, you know, getting over the fact that you are walking over the edge of the ship. But hey, if you're interested, that doesn't extra cost. you can book before the cruise begins. Adrenaline Peak is the rock climbing wall. This is included in your cruise fair and there
are many different course types available. There's beginners, advanced, super advanced, and then the super baby beginners for people like Matt who have no upward body strength. But this is available for you to try. The great thing about the rock climbing walls, if you get all the way to the top, you get
to ring a bell and then hopefully get back down very quickly as you go back down. But it's really a neat thing. This is a staple of a Royal Caribbean chip that you have a rock [music] wall. Right across from it are these little soccer tables. I'm sure they have a more formal name to it, but basically you can sit at
the table and then your partner who's sitting across from you kick the soccer ball back and forth with little mini goals. Kind of a fun thing. So it's got a lot going on. It really is the space to go to when you're looking for well something to do physically outside. And if you got kids, teenagers, or just
aging bloggers who are looking for things to do physically outside and enjoy what really the ship has to offer in that regard, well, this is where you'll go. But if you're an adult, 18 or over, the hideaway is a special area just for you. Located on the back of the ship, you have a suspended infinity pool
with absolutely fantastic views. And this is for only adults. And this is supposed to be like a Vegas pool party vibe [music] here. An emphasis on party. I mean, if you go in the early morning, there's some subtle music going on here. I mean, you have some nice views out the back, but by the time you get to about
lunchtime or so, DJ comes out and they've got music and tunes going. I mean, the idea here with the hideaway is that you've got amazing views, [music] a lot of sun, and you're in that pool enjoying. I mean, there are some tables outside that you can sit at with the bar here at the hideway bar, but really and
truly, the idea is that you're in the pool party. And that's really what they want to have here with the hideway is evoke that we're we're on a vacation. We're having a good time, probably having a drink in hand, and going to be able to enjoy some time at the pool relaxing. There is special cocktails you
can get at the hideaway, which probably would be definitely worth checking out. In fact, a lot of the bars on Legend of the Seas have a specialized menu, which makes it really fun. So, definitely check out the Hideway for not only the fun cocktails they have here, but also the amazing views off the back of the
ship. And that pool does get very, very busy. Now, if you're not looking to contend for a spot on there, there are places you can rent beds. There are day beds you can rent for the day in the hideway. Some are off to the side while others are actually in the pool and you can rent them for the day. Definitely
pre-book it before the cruise begins. Then there's also just general seating all around the hideway. Now, this seating has no additional cost to it. Just simply first come, first serve. One thing you're not going to find a lot of in the hideway is shade. So, bring your sunscreen cuz you're going to need it
here. [music] But this is definitely the place for tanning and adults only. Plus, there are a couple of hot tubs here in the hideaway. And the advantage of the hot tubs here [music] versus the rest of the ship is that well you don't have many kids to contend with cuz a lot of times teenagers and some of the younger
kids take over the hot tubs and for some people they don't want that in their hot tub experience. So there are some hot tubs here to enjoy as well. But the adult only vibe is really why you'd want to go to the hideway in general. And for a lot of people who like that that's the thing here. But there is definitely a
party vibe. There'll be loud music. It's not a you know read your book quietly kind of space. Requery wants to be fun. And this is what you'll find here at the hideaway. Next up is Surfside. We're going from adults only to the kids area. Quite a dichotomy of experiences, but Surfside
is an entire neighborhood designed for young children. Royal Carbon designed this area to be really for like kids under the age of 10. In fact, on Legend of the Seas, some of the features lean a little older. When I say a little older, instead of like being like 6 years old or so, it's more like eight or nine
years old. But there's a lot for kids to enjoy here. First up is the arcade. Now, the arcade does cost extra. This is well an arcade where there's video games, racing machines, claw machines, all sorts of ways you can spend money. Every game requires a credit and you need to purchase them at the time of you know
being there. So basically it's like any game video arcade you've been to in your life. You scan your C pass card, you pay for it. It's all all a cart. You can purchase credits before the cruise. I don't recommend them because you can never seem to get like use up all your credits because every game is a
different amount of credits required. [music] But if you're feeling generous to your children, then you can definitely go here and spend money at the arcade. It's available for you. But again, everything does cost extra. So, you know, just tread lightly because once your kids get
a taste for it, my goodness. Next up is Surfside Eery. Surfside Eery is a kids buffet. So, real is like, "All right, we have buffet. What if we made a buffet just with kids food? Food that only kids, or mostly kids anyway, would love to eat." And that's what you're going to find here. hot dogs, burgers, pizza,
chicken nuggets. I mean, really, this is all about food that is going to be as kid-friendly as humanly possible. Yes, there's soft serve ice cream. Yes, there are soda machines. Is a great spot to go to when you're looking to have more of a sit-down experience. I mean, still a buffet, but you want to have a full meal
while you're in Surfside. As you're going to notice a lot about Surfside is that it's meant to be as all-encompassing as possible. Meaning, when you have young kids, you don't have to trek across the ship to go get something. So everything you probably will need is in this area, including a
buffet restaurant. But Surfside Eyer is great if you want to have like, okay, let's sit down, have food, and enjoy that. But there's other places to eat as well. We'll get to in just a second. First up is the carousel, though. And Royal Caribbean completely redesigned the carousel for Legend of the Seas.
There is no cost to use the carousel. So yes, kids, you can ride the carousel as many times as you want. No [music] cost. And it has a very cute and fun rubber duck theme to it. And what's cool about this is that they wanted to make it just lean into what has been a pretty big, you know, trend among cruise ships,
which is that hiding rubber ducks. That's a whole different video for a different day. But nonetheless, the carousel is a fun activity. There's no cost to it. You can bring really young kids on here. In fact, there are a couple stationary options as well. And every duck has its own name, has it own
little backstory if you want to look it up. So, it's a really neat option that you can find here at the carousel. And I think what's fun about this particular spot is that it's just including your cruise fair and whimsical. Sugar Beach is an area where you can spend more money if you'd like to. Sugar Beach is a
candy shop/ ice cream shop, so there's free soft serve ice cream, but sometimes you want to have, you know, better flavors, different flavors, or you just want to buy candy by the pound. I don't know when I've ever said that to myself, but it's an option here as well. So, really, Sugar Beach is where you go to
purchase a lot of different candies and foods like ice cream and whatnot. I would argue this is more of a splurge than anything else, but the kids are going to see it. and they're going to want to go in there and if you'd like to purchase for them, this is where you can do that. Now, Surfside Bites is similar
to Surfside Eyery, but this is simply grab and go. So, if a buffet is just going to take too long, Surfside Bites is like, "Okay, let's grab something and just have it, right?" This is great for when your kids having a fun time on the carousel, don't [music] want to take a break, and really, you have that
opportunity for just something quick to have here. I mean, it's just a couple different food options, but they're doing them very well. You've got burgers, hot dogs. I mean, it's just, you know, here's some food. Okay? you know, grab a bite and then go back to the fun. There are also Coca-Cola
freestyle machines and these are available if you have a drink package to use, but beyond that, you also have plenty of other included drinks. Sprinkles is up next. Sprinkles is the complimentary ice cream. So, this ice cream is soft serve. It's available not 24 hours, but most hours of the day, and
it's usually a combination of either vanilla, chocolate, or swirl that you have to choose from. You get as much as you'd like to. They just have a person there to dispense it for you. but it's great and it really can cool you down on a very warm day and it's included so it's a nice spot to get ice cream you'll
find in other places as well. The playscape is meant to be just this climb over everything area on Surfside. So this is an opportunity for kids to climb, explore, slide down in fact and it's pretty impressive area. When my kids were younger, we didn't have these kind of things. This is really cool and
very colorful and the idea is that you can climb and explore really get a lot of energy out because a lot of kids especially younger kids just want to climb, slide and repeat at Nausem. So it's an offer to go try all those areas out. All right, let's keep exploring the rest of Surfside. This is more for kids
to do. Starting with Pier 7. Pier 7 is a special restaurant. And here's the cool thing about Pier 7. If your kids are under the age of 12, this sitdown restaurant costs nothing extra for them. It's for anybody who's above the age of 12 where it does cost extra money and that does bring some options for you.
Now, like all specialy restaurants, as you're about to see here on Legend of the Seas, the reason to eat at a specialy restaurant is they have different cuisines and foods that you won't find anywhere else. There's both outdoor and indoor seating. And what I like about Pier 7, it has this like they
call it California food, but I think it's actually pretty good, especially for brunch. Right across the way is the Lemon Post. So, this is a bar that offers both cocktails and mocktails. Now, you can find these at almost any bar. The difference at the Lemon Pose is they designed this bar to be a bar that
kids and their parents can enjoy together. In fact, for the kids, a lot of the drinks come in these, it's not plastic, but it's a plastic derivative that looks almost like a Capri Sun where they have like gummy worms in there and it's super sugary. Anyway, it's an idea for kids to enjoy a drink with their
parents together. Splashway Bay is right in the middle of it and Splashway Bay is a giant aqua park. This is where you can go to enjoy basically a lot of time splashing, getting wet, getting soaked. There's areas for kids to just run around and just get as wet as humanly possible. The great thing as a parent is
that you can basically sit back and watch them just go back and forth over and over and over again and have to worry too much about where they might run off to. Again, this is the beauty of Surfside. It's all encompassing. It's all in one place. So, it's a really nice option. There is baby bay as well. Also,
if you have kids under the age of three or at least kids that are wearing swim diapers, this is the place just for them to go to. As you can see here, obviously, it's a little more sedated, a little more relaxed in terms of the thrill factor, but hey, it's there as well. And at the very back, we have W's
Edge Pool. Wat's Edge Pool is a pool at the edge of the water. And it's a pool meant to, you know, for kids and their parents who enjoy together. You might argue, what's the difference between any other pool? It's just a fun one, right? And being in Surfside, sometimes you want to just get totally wet at
Splashaway Bay and other times you just want to get wet in a pool. And you have both those options. If your kids are like my kids, you're going to want to go back and forth between the two. Adnauseium pool, splashaway bay, pool, splash away bay. You get it anyway. It's all available for you. And also, there's
some other random things we'll call there also within Surfside. First of all, there's a shop here which you can purchase some different items. A lot of these shops are like, you know, either things souvenirs or maybe things you forgot or things you need because, you know, you ran out of it, whatever.
Anyway, they have a little cute shop here for souvenirs and things you can purchase. Also, there's a slide to get you from well, deck 8 down to where Surfside is located because listen, stairs. Who wants to take stairs when there's a slide? And this slide is actually completely enclosed unlike
maybe what you would find the slide on Star and Icon of the Seas, but it's a fun way to get down a little quicker. So, for kids [music] or, you know, aging bloggers with bad backs, you can also go down there. Surfside is really meant for families. And in addition to everything you've
seen here, there are special events back during [music] the evening hours. They do bedtime stories and they'll have special parties here at Surfside just for kids. They can have, you know, DJ parties and silent discos and there's a lot of fun. So check out the Royal Caribbean app for what's happening here.
But if you got kids under the age of, you know, nine or so, maybe 10 years old, this is going to be one of your favorite places to hang out for the entire cruise because there's just so much for them to do here. It's designed for them and for you as the parent to spend some time at as well. But let's go
over to one of my favorite areas of the ship, Central Park, which is next. Now, Central Park is right in the middle of the ship, and this is actual park. All the plants and trees and shrubs you see are actually real. And I think it's one of the most beautiful spaces on any cruise ship. And I love what they've
done here with Central Park on Legend of the Seas. So, when you go in here, you're going to find basically a lot of areas to relax, enjoy, and even indulge. And Central Park is meant to be an area where you can go to to enjoy kind of a break from the rest of the ship. And it really does look and feel fundamentally
different. I mean, it's a living park, which is truly impressive. There's a lot of Central Park that's here to love and some areas that you really like to enjoy both during the evening and the daytime. First up is Chops Grill. Chops Grill is a special restaurant that serves steaks.
[music] This is real Korean signature steakhouse option. And really, when it comes to Chops Grill, I mean, you're going here for some really high quality steaks. When you dine at Chops, there's a regular menu that offers things like fillet minan and ribe eyes and things of that nature. Plus, they also have an
upgraded option that offers even additional higher quality cuts, which does cost a little bit extra. But if you're a steak connoisseur, if you'd like to have a tomahawk steak, this is where you can go for it. And a lot of people just love going to Chops for [music] just the ambiance and the
amazing steak they have here. They have other options like lobster and chicken and even salmon. But I'd argue if you're going to Chop's Grill, you should be going for the steak. Personally, I go for fillet minion every time I'm here because how can you go wrong with fillet? I've had other things. In fact,
over the years, I've probably tried every single thing on the menu at shops, but I think their fillet is probably the best thing that they do and it's the reason why I end up going to Chops more often than than not really. So, anyway, Chops Grill is a great choice. Right across the way, Iumi, and this is
probably my favorite specialty restaurant here on Legend of the Seas. Izzoomi is split into two restaurants. One side is Hibachi and one side is sushi. Hibachi is where they cook in front of you. The chef does kind of a show element that goes with it. And it's really fun, great [music]
familyfriendly, inviting option. In fact, this is a great special restaurant if you have picky eaters because at the end of the day, they're just grilling up, you know, chicken, beef, lobster, whatever you want to have. On the other side is sushi, Japanese cuisine, and they have some great options here. I think sushi
is one of my favorite foods of all time. And they do a great job with the sushi over at Izumi. And they also have some non sushi options as well. So, if you're not into that whole raw fish scene, that's okay. They have other options including chicken teriyaki and some different chicken dishes, rice bowls,
noodle bowls. So, you got a couple different choices here to go with it. And I think it's a very, very good option to eat at. And considering it's especially restaurant, it's not terribly priced expensively. So, it's a good choice for families out there and a great way to indulge. And again, when I
go on a ship like Legend, you know, I'm going to Isumi at least once cuz it's just that darn good. It's very, very impressive. Right outside of Iumi is Iumi in the Park. So, this is a grabandgo option where they [music] have both sushi and waffle bubble cones. So, what's really cool about this is you can
enjoy basically, let's say you're like, okay, it's like two o'clock in the afternoon. You want to have a full sit down meal. Bam. Just grab a couple rolls to go. Almost like you would have at your supermarket, but in this case, it's much higher quality and there's no waiting. It's just right there. In
addition, they also have bubble cones. So, these are ice cream served instead of waffle cones, bubble cones. It's a Japanese street food. It's so good. You've got to try one at least. I mean, they're massive. Great for sharing or keeping to yourself if you're selfish with your ice cream. No judgments here.
You have that option over at Izumi in the Park. It all costs extra, but at least that's all all a cart, so you're only paying for one thing at a time. Across the way, Trellis Bar. Trellis Bar is [music] the bar within Central Park. And this is my favorite place to go for like in the evening hours. I mean, you
go here in the daytime, too. No problem at all. But the ambiance of having a drink in the middle of the park [music] with a view, perhaps the breeze blowing by. I mean, it is just perfection. It's one of my favorite places to go for a drink. Like I said, I tend to go there in the evening hours. It's my favorite,
you know, time to go, but you can go any time of the day. As you walk through Central Park, you'll get views of other areas. In fact, [music] you can peer down into the Royal Prominade, which is kind of neat and gives you a almost a sneak peek of what's coming up later in this video, but there's some great
spaces. Just sip and relax. And really, that's what Central Park evokes in a lot of cases. I mean, there are restaurants obviously, but you can actually access the Royal Proon from Central Park. There's a special little staircase that goes between the two. So, it's a really good tip to know that you can get
between the two from here because it makes it so much more convenient to get from one spot to another. We're going to head up to Park Cafe, though. This is an included restaurant within Legend of the Seas, and this offers options for both breakfast and lunch. At breakfast, it's a bagel bar, and then in the afternoon,
it turns into a salad bar/ sandwich shop. And this is a great spot for like kind of graband go, [music] easy foods. The difference between this and the other buffets on board the ship is it's not as big obviously, but it's quicker. And I love going here for like, okay, I want to have a bagel in the morning, my
coffee, and then be on my way for like a shore excursion or something to that effect. Bam. You can go over to Prair Cafe for that. And they also have a great selection of just included drinks, not only just water, coffees, flavored waters. And I like to go here actually in the afternoon to do some work
sometimes cuz it's air conditioned over here. [music] Some great views of Central Park. It's great for people watching. And they have both indoor and [music] outdoor seating for you to enjoy. So really a great spot to go to for a light meal. Like I mean you know you can find food obviously elsewhere on
the ship but this is meant to be kind of just more of a relaxing casual place for a [music] quick meal. And you got to say the chemic sandwich they serve at lunch is absolutely fantastic. Right next door is Bubbles. Bubbles does one thing and one thing only and that is champagne. It
is a champagne window and if you just want champagne, mimosa, or both, bam, you can get it here at Bubbles. It's available for you. Of course, the champagne and the mimosas and all that do cost extra if a drink package is included with it, but you want to point out that it exists. Right across from
Bubbles is LSE Jazz Club. This is, you guessed it, a jazz club. In the daytime, it's pretty much not much going on here, but in the evening, they have live jazz music. It's included. Just stop on by, sit down, grab a drink. And it's really neat because I love that Royal Caribbean
has such a high attention to live music and [music] making it really an important part of their lineup of entertainment. And LSE offers something completely different cuz this is jazz music. This isn't dance [music] music and DJ music. I mean, it's classic jazz. Really nice for sitting back having
conversation or enjoying the performance. Really, really good. There are also some high-end shops within Central Park. Cardier, Hubla, Regalia. I mean, basically, if you're into some name brand expensive jewelry, there are shops for you here to enjoy it. [music] But I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about
Central Park at night, cuz everything we've seen so far is in the daytime. But you got to come to Central Park at night, even if you've done everything in the daytime, cuz it takes on a completely different vibe at nighttime. I mean, it [music] is beautiful. It's all lit up. You got probably cooler
temperatures out than it was in the daytime. It's really nice for kind of that date night experience. [music] Overall, I love Central Park. I think it's a great spot not just to get from point A to point B, but also to actually spend time in besides like the pool deck or something like that. It's outdoor,
but yet not pool [music] experience. That's why I love Central Park quite a bit cuz it's just a beautiful space with a lot of great ambiance in it. And that's why I'll go to it a lot for when I'm on [music] board really Legend of the Sea or any ship that happens to have it on there. All right, we're going to
head up next to a different area of the ship. And this is the suites only area. So, if you're staying in a suite, you have access to a special area of the ship just for sweet guests. So, there's a suite neighborhood, and this area offers a couple different options. First, there's a sweet sund deck. The
sweet sund deck has special seating just for sweet guests. You'll be staying in a grand suite or higher. So, sorry, junior sweet guest, but this area is reserved just for you. You just gain your seat pass card to get in here. And it offers hot tubs and chairs and loungers and just a pool deck area just for sweet
guests. one of the best reasons to book a suite. I mean, they're very expensive, but they do come with some extra benefits, too. Then you also have the Grove. The Grove is an area. It's a buffet, basically, and it's right within the entrance to the Sweet Sund deck area. The Grove offers well food and
buffet food throughout the day. And this is actually not I mean, it's actually really good, but I would say not bad food. It's really good food. And I come up here thinking of it like as a snack option, but many times I've come up to the Grove and then I text my wife like, "Okay, I just had lunch here
accidentally because it was that darn good." Downstairs you'll have both Coastal Kitchen and the Sweet Lounge. The Sweet Lounge and the Coastal Kitchen are both split in two. We'll get into both of them in a second. Sweet Lounge is pretty straightforward. I mean, it's a lounge. It's a bar area. When you're
staying in a suite, you have complimentary drinks in the sweet lounge certain hours of the day. And you also have access to the sweet concier. Sweet concierge is one of the best reasons to stay in a suite as well. They offer some great services to help make your cruise better. They can make reservations, fix
problems. They're basically your guest services for you without having to go down to guest services, take advantage of them, meet them when you're on board. It says sweet guest. Within the sweet lounge, there's also a buffet area and also a 24-hour coffee machine, and it's included in your cruise fairs. Take
advantage of it because, hey, it's included, and you can enjoy it. Now, in addition, this space also is Coastal Kitchen. Coastal Kitchen is an included restaurant for sweet guests. Coastal Kitchen basically is like a main dining room for sweet guests. There's a completely different menu than the main
dining room. It's included in your cruise fair. And I'd recommend really trying Coastal Kitchen if you're sailing in a suite. In fact, you could also look at the Coastal Kitchen menu for dinner. Then look at the main dining room menu and figure out which one you'd rather dine at and pick and choose. And the
great thing about Coastal Kitchen and the Sweet Lounge in general is you have some great views of the Aquad Dome right next door. And that leads us actually to our next area, which is the Aquad Dome neighborhood. So the Aquadome neighborhood is a aqua theater which we'll talk about just a second enclosed
within the dome. It's actually a really impressive feat of engineering but for the purpose of this video we'll skip past that. So first we have the aqua show on board and there's an aqua show that's included in your cruise fair. It's really neat that there's actually an aqua show included in your cruise
fair you can enjoy. And this is really impressive. I mean there are high divers, there are aerialists, there are dancers and it's all set to some really good music you can enjoy. I would definitely recommend checking out all the shows on Legend of the Seas. The Aqua Show should absolutely be a high
priority. Here's another pro tip for you. Definitely prioritize seeing the Aqua Show as early as you can on the cruise. If there's too much motion in the ocean, they will cancel and reschedule shows for later on. So, take advantage of any opportunity you can see it with good weather. And that way, if
it gets cancelled or rescheduled later on, well, you already saw it, so you're set to go there. The seating within the Aqua Theater is fairly limited. So, recommend making a reservation before the [music] cruise via the cruise planner app. and that way you can get a seat for it. There is standby seating,
but it can sometimes get a little contentious for it. Right around the other side of the aqued though is the overlook. The overlook is a really awesome area. This is the very front of the ship with some great views out there. The Aquad Dome overlook area is really kind of just like a chill lounge
vibe. There is a bar as we're about to see, but there isn't entertainment here. There isn't like, you know, over the top or music. It's really meant to be, I think, the place to have a book, enjoy the view, have a conversation, a cocktail perhaps, but it's definitely one of the most chillest areas of the
ship to simply relax and enjoy. And I love going to the overlook in the morning because you can just enjoy the whole world passing by. Now, there is a bar, as I mentioned, within the overlook. So, if you need to get a cocktail, it's a great spot. In fact, in the evening hours, a lot of people go
out here for like their happy hour drink, let's call it, and you have that option here at the Overlook Bar to grab a drink, head back to your seat, and enjoy the world. Especially if there's a great sunset going by. My goodness, it's absolutely amazing over here. Really, really enjoy that quite a bit. Now,
something else that's really cool about the overlook are the pods. These pods are more of a secluded seating spot. Great for groups. In fact, a lot of teenagers end up taking this area over. But I think if you're looking for more of a secluded area to hang out with your friends or family, then try to grab a
pod. The pods are free. I mean, it's just first come, first serve. And honestly, some people will be there like all day long. So, definitely get up early in the morning to grab one. But if you like a space for that, the overlook is really neat for that. I think it's uh underrated in that respect, quite
frankly. The Ryan Bean Bar is next, and the Ryan Bean is a coffee bar that turns into a regular bar. So, this is a really neat idea. Rolling was like, "All right, we need another coffee bar." bar. So they built a coffee bar, but you know, coffee bars are only popular like in the morning, but later on they have more
drinks. I mean, you can order any time of the day, but I think most people want coffee in the morning. And then later on in the afternoon, in the evening, they have actually espresso based beverages. An entire menu of them. Very creative, in fact. I mean, you can always get your coffee and espresso here and maybe even
espresso martini. But they have many more creative drinks you can enjoy. And it's really neat that they have just this kind of bar that is different in the sense it's all espresso-based cocktails. really nice spot to enjoy that. And then you have one of my favorite restaurants. In fact, my
favorite included restaurant on the ship, Aquedome Market. Aquedome Market is a food hall restaurant. You have like five or six different food halls you can go to. And everyone is prepared freshly for you. You have a taco stand, you have Korean rice bowls, you have Spanish tapas, you have French crepes. It's all
included except for the Simply Press. I should mention that. That one actually does cost extra cuz they're smoothies and whatnot. But for the food, it's all included. Just get in line, grab one. All made for you. I mean, the crepe station alone should be worth a visit. [music] It's really, really good. Now, every
station has its own motif. Soulmate has, of course, Korean rice bowls, which are I I mean, I love Asian food. This is fantastic. Adobo has tacos that are freshly prepared for you. You've got Laspanola, which offers tapas, and you also have Cajun Kitchen, which has gumbo. And I tried every single one, and
I was really impressed by how good the food was. And the fact that it's included, the fact that it's open late at night, in some cases all the way till midnight. I love having this variety and these options for you, it's just something nice to have. And it's all included, which is amazing. So, you can
come from the pool deck, grab something here. You come up from a different deck and enjoy it. I mean, you'll find me at Aquadome Market more times [music] than I care to admit to. I mean, sometimes you're just thinking to yourself, you're like, I could get a slice of pizza or I get a crepe and a Korean rice bowl. I'm
going for the crepe and the Korean rice bowl. It's that darn good. Now, there's plenty of seating within the Aquadome market nearby. There's seating within the actual restaurant itself and air conditioning, let's say. There's also seating outside of the Aqued Market. There's actually some great seats right
by the window. So, it's really meant to be a casual grab and go, eat it quickly and then be on your way type restaurant. But the fact it's including your cruise fair is very impressive and I love that. And it's really one of the reasons why no matter which icon class ship I go on,
the Aquedo market is a must eat every single time. That leads us to one more restaurant within the Aquadome, and that's Hooked Seafood. Hooked Seafood is New England style seafood you can enjoy. This is especially restaurant, so there's a cost to dying here. But if you're in the mood for lobster, muscles,
clams, salmon, and more, and they got plenty of it over here. Hooked has some great views out the windows, I have to say. And I think what's great about Hooked is that it's really the restaurant that leans so heavily into seafood, which is so popular with a lot of people. I some people don't care for
it, but Hooked is one of those restaurants that I've had this lovehate relationship with. More recently, I've tried it again. Their fillet is fantastic. I don't eat shellfish, but I have to say I've been really impressed by the fillet minion they serve here, but in addition, if you do enjoy shrimp
and lobster tail and all that, my goodness, they've got some great choices at Hooked. It's really, really good. Located like within Hooked with a there's another restaurant in fact called Celebration Table. Celebration Table is basically your party space. So, imagine you going on a cruise and you
have a big party, 10, 12 people. You want to have a special event. This is the place for it. It's a restaurant that caters to your needs. They have a standard menu, but it's basically a party room you can rent out. So, it's a special restaurant in a sense, but it's a restaurant that only you would pay
for, and you're paying for every single seat, whether you use every single seat or not. So, as you can see here, there's a pretty hefty cost to rent it, but you'd have that as well. Also, there's a Soul and Sea store within the Aquadome. Solen Sea is well it's a souvenir store obviously you can find different
knickknacks, different dresses, jewelry, bags, clutches, basically souvenirs obviously and a lot of them I think the idea here is that they're very much like connected to the sea. There's a motif to it. In short, Aqued has a lot going on. I mean the theater is the biggest draw here, but you're going to probably stay
for things like different bars and restaurants and the Aquadome market. Mwah. Chef's kiss. So darn good. If there's the heartbeat of the ship, it's probably in the Royal Prominade, which is the next stop on our video tour of Legend of the Seas. The Royal Prominade is two decks high. It's right
in the middle of the ship. This is actually where you'll board Legend of the Seas, and this is where you've got probably the most activities throughout the day. The Royal Prominade is meant to be this all-encompassing everything happening right in the middle of everything. I mean, it's kind of like a
mall/town center. Anyway, we'll get into everything you can see here and do in the real prominent. Starting off with the Pearl. This is one of the major changes really made to Legend of the Seas. The Pearl is well, it's a staircase to go between deck 5 and deck 6, but it is a beautiful staircase. I
mean, this is absolutely stunning. When you walk into it, I mean, you're going to stop and want to take photos. In fact, every single time you walk in front of the Pearl, you're going to want to stop and take like selfies and photos of it. It's absolutely stunning and beautiful. All these little elements can
move and change colors. There's music. [music] It's really impressive. I mean, Royal Caribbean made this the ultimate weenie of like this like hang on, we got to stop and look at it kind of experience, and it really does deliver on it. It's absolutely amazing. If and when you can
make it through the Pearl cuz you've stopped looking around, you've got Pearl Cafe. Pearl Cafe is your complimentary included restaurant that offers coffees, snacks, and sandwiches 24 hours a day. It's really impressive. So, the food here is included in your cruise fair, and there are basic, you know, cup of
coffee that's included as well. In addition, there is extra coffee that costs extra in the sense that it's specially coffee like cappuccinos and espressos and macchiatoos that's available here as well. But the food and the snacks are really impressive. In the morning, they have like breakfast items
and then of course in the daytime in the evening they have [music] desserts and they have sandwiches and some of it is made just to grab and go. Some of it's prepared for you. There are cookies. I mean it's a really impressive graband go option. Great for snacking throughout the day. The really cool thing about
Pearl Cafe is just the views out here. I mean, look at these giant windows. It's great for sipping your coffee. It's great for doing work, checking the Royal Caribbean blog Instagram page, however you want to spend your time. I mean, it's just a great spot to hang out. In fact, there are USB [music] outlets here
as well if you want to power up your device. A lot of people who are doing remote work will hang out in Pearl Cafe specifically for that reason. It's a great work area, but it's also a great spot to bring a book, enjoy, read, or stare out the window while you drink by. Also, there's nearby is the Wi-Fi
station. If you have any questions about the Voom packages, you go to the Voom desk over here and they can help you out with it. Underneath the Pearl back on deck 5 is where you'll find the photo and excursion desk. So, so much of this is really done in the Royal Korean app, but if you need to talk to a human
being, this is where you go for it. You need support with a shore excursion, cancing, rebooking, questions about a tour, they have it over here. And if you're purchasing a photo package or photos individually and you have questions about that or want to pick them up, this is where you can go to the
photo area, it's behind the Pearl on deck 5 and it's kind of a neat little spot. Nearby is Ocean Eye Photography. This is something Royal has added to their ships more recently where you can get pictures of your eyeball. This costs [music] money as you might imagine, but if you're interested in that, it's
available for you. We're going to head out to the jogging track, though, because there is opportunities to do some exercise on the ship, including a dedicated jogging track on the outside of deck 5. It goes all the way around deck 5. And listen, if you're looking to walk, jog, or run, this is the place for
it. This jogging track is open 24 hours a day and just put on your sneakers and head on out there and give it a try. You know, it takes about four laps or so to equal a mile and that allows you to, of course, do some running out there. In addition, there's some great outdoor seating as well. Not for the joggers,
but for the people who want to maybe have a cocktail, have a FaceTime call, or just hang out with their friends. There is outdoor seating right beyond the doors on deck five of the [music] Royal Prominade to go out here. And I'll go out here for a quiet, you know, maybe read a book or do [music] some work out
here. It's more usually it's not nearly as loud as the Royal Prominade, so a good spot for it. But these doors, which by the way, this is where you'll board your ship as well, allow you to access between indoor Royal Prominade and the outside. The 1400 lobby bar is in the Royal Prominade and when you board the
ship, this is the first bar you'll see. The 1400 bar is a classic icon class ship bar. The idea here is, by the way, the name refers to the build of Icon of the Seas. Long story, we don't get into it, but that's why it's called 1400 bar, but it's well known for the 1400 drink, which is the bubble drink. A lot of
people call it that. But this drink is really impressive and it's really tasty. My wife loves this drink as well. It does cost extra because this is a cocktail obviously, but Fortenter bar is usually very popular, especially in the evening hours. People love going here for that, you know, fun drinks to enjoy
the great views. [music] Sometimes the sunset lines up with those windows, but you've got opportunity to see what's happening in the Royal Prominade and what's outside. All right, let's check out the rest of the Royal Prominade cuz there's still way more to see. We've only barely scratched the surface of it.
And we're going to head over to the other end of the prominade and start off with Sarrento's Pizza. Sarrento's Pizza is including your cruise fair. It's open not quite 24 hours a day, but pretty close to it. And this is where you can get slices of pizza as much as you want. Cheese, pepperoni, barbecue chicken,
vegetarian, and other options. I mean, there's going to be cheese and pepperoni every day. And then the other varieties, you know, alternate throughout the cruise, but this pizza is included. You can get as much as you want. You just go up there. I want to have seven slices of pizza. All right, Earl. Here are seven
slices of pizza. Enjoy. You know, have a good time. But it's just I mean at the end of the day it's not bad pizza. It's not great pizza. I mean it's not you know New Haven style amazing Pepes pizza. But it's still pretty darn good and it hits the spot especially late at night and you know sometimes you just
want to have a slice of pizza and I got to say I'm a big fan of Sarrento's Pizza for that reason cuz when you just need a slice this is one of the best spots. Across the way is Spotlight Karaoke. This is a bar dedicated to one thing and one thing only, karaoke, where you can go out here and try your talent, let's
call it that, at singing. They have general karaoke. They'll have family karaoke. They have teen karaoke, adult karaoke. And really, this is just an opportunity to get up there. There's no cost to it, by the way. Just simply get up there, sign up, pick your song, and belt out the tune, and hopefully you
don't sneak up the joint. I think feel like a lot of people end up in that middle ground, but there's some truly good ones and not so good ones. They do occasionally use Spotlight Karaoke for other events like trivia events and whatnot. So, check the Royal Caribbean app. They usually use that in the
morning for things like trivia, but by the time you get to the afternoon and definitely the evening. It goes full karaoke all the time. And people who love karaoke will definitely look forward to Spotlight Karaoke. We're going to head over to Starbucks next. There's actually a Starbucks kiosk here.
Now, Starbucks costs extra. And even if you have a drink package, it doesn't work here. So, to pay for your Starbucks drinks, you either put your Cass card and charge it to your room account, or you can use your Starbucks app card, if you will, to pay for your drinks as well. You can use your Starbucks app or
card to pay for drinks and even earn rewards, but you cannot redeem rewards here, but they do have all the Starbucks drinks. And yes, they'll have the seasonal drinks once red cups or whatever crazy concoctions they have. There you go. All right, we're going to head down the escalators and check out
the casino. Casino is available on Legends. This is actually one of the bigger changes we've seen with the casino on any ship cuz it's really large. Going down to the casino is an opportunity to obviously gamble and as you might imagine it cost money here. The thing with the casino is obviously
there's a lot of different gambling opportunities. There are slot machines, there are tables and in fact the entire casino is encompassing two different decks. The lower deck is non-smoking and the upper deck is half non-smoking, half smoking. And it's a really large casino. I mean, obviously you should gamble
responsibly in any type of casino, but this is a major pull for a lot of cruisers who look to enjoy an opportunity to hopefully win some money, but there's that risk factor involved with it, obviously. Anyway, the casino is here, and if you're looking to gamble on your cruise, it's one of Royal
Caribbean's better casinos for short. [music] It's massive, good stretch of options, and a lot of different slot machines and table games. One of my favorite bars is next, and that's the Ale and Arrow. This is the English style pub and I love it here for the music and the great drinks that go with it. The
English style pubs offer basically in the evening hours and a guitarist who plays pub music, bar music, songs that you usually have heard in bars when you've gone to bars on land. And I love that live musical element to it. Plus, they have cocktails, they have Guinness, they have other beers, Gentleman Jack,
Crown and Coke, Michelob Ultra. They've got the heavy hitters and all-time favorites of these kind of drinks that just go with a drink at hand and live music. And some of the guitars that Roller Company has on board are absolutely fantastic. I mean, really, really talented folks that put on a
really great show. And I love going to the English pub in the evening hours. Odds are if I'm on Legend of the Seas, there's a good chance I'm in this bar, hanging out to it because it's just one of my favorite spots for it. I just love the the atmosphere, the ambiance of it. Really does it for me. Next door is both
Crown and Anchor Society and Next Cruise. So, if you have a question about your Crown and Anchor Society account, this is where you can go to speak [music] to the loyalty ambassador. But I think 99% of the people that are here are here to book another cruise. Next Cruise offers you the chance to book
another Royal Caribbean cruise while you're on board. There are a few extra benefits for booking on board the ship, namely on board credit, but it's not a lot of it. Basically, if you're on board Legend and you're like, "Wow, this is amazing. I'd love to do another cruise." Yeah, go to next cruise and book [music]
it. But if you're like my friend Hannah who's watching this video at home and wants to tell her parents to book another cruise, go ahead, Stephanie, and book a cruise now. Don't wait to get on another ship and do it. the incentives may not actually be that great, especially if you wait and then the
prices go up and thus negating any savings. Right across the way is guest services. If you have any questions, concerns, or issues on board your Legend of the Seas cruise, guest service is available for you. It's open 24 hours a day, and they can handle pretty much any issue you've got. I mean, you could lost
your seat pass card, lock yourself out of your room, or simply have a question about a booking, billing issue, anything like that. Guest service is the place to go. [music] It's the busiest on the first day of the cruise and the last day of the cruise. So, if you can avoid those times, usually you won't find much
of a line here, but it's where you can go. Also, right outside is a really fun dog statue. There's a lot of great art on board the ship. You're going to find a lot of it. But dogs having a connection to icon class ships are not unusual because of course there is a family dog officer on board, which is
really neat. There's also the treasure chest store on the Royal Proomenade. And this is basically, well, how do I describe this store? Well, it's a store that if my kids ran a store, they would stock with all these things. I mean, you've got Funko Pops, you've got jelly cats, you've got blind bags, you've got
just every cute animal and thing you can collect. I mean, this is going to show my age here that I don't understand the appeal of all these things, but they're just cute animals. And a lot of it is like collect them all Pokemon style. They have food as well, but really, I think it's all about the blind boxes and
things you can collect. Anyway, it's really a store for those kids who are young at heart and you have that there. Also, there's a Royal Caribbean logo store. And good news, I understand this store. This store is where you can buy something with the words Royal Caribbean or Legend of the Seas or both on it. I
mean, this is your Royal Caribbean logo store with all the souvenirs to remember something that you were on this particular ship. For a lot of people, they want to come home with some sort of a remembrance that, hey, we were on Legend of the Seas, as opposed to other Royan ships. And the marketplace has a
lot of different souvenirs you can purchase throughout, you know, the year and they have a lot of different souvenirs about the ship. So, it's really neat to have it. Now, there are a lot of other stores and shops around [music] the Royal Prominade offering different souvenirs. The logo store is
all about obviously Royal Caribbean souvenirs, but the other ones are more about different kinds of souvenirs. I mean, Royal Caribbean basically figures, you know, people have different tastes, different wants, and so they try to offer something for everybody. And that's essentially how this all works
here. You have fine jewelry, you have cheap jewelry, you have kids souvenirs, you have shirts, you have a lot of other things you can purchase. All of it costs extra, but the idea is that they have a shopping opportunity, which is why the real primad is kind of like a mall in some cases. All right, we've seen deck
five of the Royal Prooad. Now, let's go up to deck six and check out what's up there, cuz remember [music] the Real Preminad is two different decks and wraps all the way around, which is really neat. All right, it's time to head to Dueling Pianos. Another amazing bar that I will go to, assuming I can
get a seat for it, because it's easier said than done. Dueling Pianos is a special bar on Legend that has, well, two piano players who challenge themselves to play off of one another. So, basically, they take requests from the audience and they alternate. And the cool thing is the energy level that
comes with this experience. I mean, they have a variety of different flavors of how they perform. It's fun and the atmosphere and the energy is incredible. If you want your song played, just fill out a slip of paper and put it on the piano. Now, if you really want to play it, put like a dollar5 or $10 behind it
and it'll get played a lot quicker. But I love how much fun this is and how they really play off of each other. I mean, again, talented performers and dueling pianos has no cost to go in here. Obviously, there's a bar and the idea is that maybe you'll buy a drink or eight, but really you can go here without
paying anything extra for it. I think dual piano is just a home run. I love the cocktail menu they have here. really really nice. All right, a really a neat idea is the Royal Railway Legend Station. This is an immersive specialy restaurant that combines technology, sights, and sounds to make it feel like
you're eating on a classic train car that follows the travels of Marco Poland. You might be saying, "Why would I want to eat on a train on a cruise ship?" But go with me on this one. It's really cool. I mean, the technology and the storytelling is absolutely astounding. It's so impressive that it's
just one of these things that Real leans into, which I can't believe they put it on a cruise ship. And it's a really amazing memory maker. Basically, you book it before the cruise because it will sell out before you're sailing. And you get to enjoy boarding a train platform and then getting on a train and
looking like you're actually traveling through places like Persia and Turkey and Italy and China. And you look out your window and it looks like that. They serve food which matches the area that you're traveling towards. I got to tell you, it is one of the best specialy restaurants I've ever done. A really fun
experience. and something that I think that while expensive, I do believe it's one of these you got to try it at least once because I was really blown away by it. It was that darn good and I'll be coming back again when I go on Legend of the Seas the next time. As someone that's always looking for experience to
stand out being unlike anything I do anywhere else, I think Royal Railway hits that target squarely in the center. There's no way you won't dine at Royal Railway and not come home and tell your friends about it. Moreover, it's not just about it looking like a train. The show element is very well done, but I
really think the food stands out on its own and something I wish I could get more of separately. Another special restaurant on the Royal Prominade is Giovani's Italian Kitchen. This is a special restaurant all about great Italian food. And this is your standard Italian checkerboard food. And there's a
pretty wide variety of options here. I mean, there are pastas, there are steaks, there are salads, there's pizzas. I think the food is very impressive at Giovani. In fact, this is one of my favorite specialy restaurants because the menu is just so darn good. It is in the middle of the rail
prominadon, so it can get a little loud. I don't think that really matters. I don't think especially restaurants should be like libraries, like everybody's just really quiet. It's not a fancy restaurant. It's just a really good restaurant. And I love the pizzas here. Don't overlook them. They're
absolutely fantastic because even though you can get Yes, pizza for free, quote unquote. The pizzas here at Giovani are a much higher quality. Margarita, absolutely fantastic. Their fillet is really good. I mean, you've got chicken parmesan, which I think I order every single time I've eaten [music] here.
Absolutely amazing. And you've got lots of different pasta dishes. I mean, this is comfort food defined. And I love going to Giovani's. If I have a dining package, I almost certainly will eat a Giovani every single time, at least once. I mean, I Giovani, it's hard to go wrong there. Plus, you can also eat with
an ocean view. So, ask for a table by the window. And I love the fact that you can have a nice view of the ocean passing by. Maybe you're in port still. You can enjoy some views out there, [music] but it's unusual to have a special restaurant with a view like that. So, it's really, really nice. In
addition, there is the Giovani's wine bar area. So, you don't need a reservation for the wine bar. Simply show up. And the great thing is, well, number one, they have wine. Number two, they have, of course, a sub selection of food you can order from. This is actually a great hack. If you don't have
a reservation for the restaurant itself, you go to the wine bar [music] and order food from there. And you don't need a reservation. You can simply walt on in and enjoy. It's kind of neat, but also a great people watching opportunity because it overlooks the Royal Prominade. So grab a glass of wine and
enjoy everybody walking by, dancing, partying, whatever they're doing. I just like this opportunity. And obviously, Giovani is right in the middle of the Royal Prominade and a really nice view out there. All right, we're going to move on to the schooner bar. Schooner Bar is the piano bar and every real ship
has a schooner bar and it has a very, I would say, a light nautical theme to it. I mean, it's not over the top, but it offers well trivia in the daytime and other events like napkin bowling and whatnot. But in the evening hours, Skooner Bar really comes alive with the piano player. The Skooner Bar player
brings a lot of different music here. There's a lot of energy. For a lot of cruisers who go a lot, this is their go-to spot. Like, if you know my friend Craig Hart, he's in the casino, but if he's not in the casino, he's in the schooner bar hanging out and enjoying the live music here. It's really
impressive. And you know this we're talking about Billy Joel and other piano Ela John trying to think of other piano songs off top my head Alicia Keys obviously but I mean they'll play almost anything. It's all by request. Great spot for a drink and some music and people will alternate between like you
know schooner bar and the pub. And our next bar which is Boleros is another bar that has Latin themed music. Salsa moren lots of dancing opportunities. I mean, the daytime is a little tamer, but in the evening, just like Schooner Bar, it really comes alive with live bands that perform here [music]
and offer the music and dancing. There's a lot of dancing involved. In fact, when you go on board Legend of the Seas, I bet you this will be one of the busiest bars that you'll see. [music] People love the energy that comes with it. It's different. It offers more just atmosphere to it. And of course, they
have their own special cocktails, which I really should [music] emphasize because we're not just talking about margaritas, but also carbanas and mojitos and a lot of great drinks. In fact, any bar you go to in real Caribbean, just consider this a good tip. They usually have a different bar
menu in addition to the usual stuff. So, lean into those special cocktails and enjoy there. Now, the Royal Prominade also has plenty of events and parties happening throughout the day. In fact, when you board the ship, you'll probably see balloons up in the rafters. And really, you'll have a midnight balloon
drop on the first night, and then you'll have dance parties. You'll have parades. Check the Royal Caribbean app for different events and whatnot, but there will be events throughout the day every day of your cruise. All of it is pretty much included. I can't think of a Royal Prominade event that's not included. Of
course, cue somebody in the comments is going to point it out to me that one there. But anyway, the Royal Prominade has a lot going on, a lot of activities, a lot of events, and you'll spend a lot of time here cuz one way or another, you're going to end up [music] passing through and there's just a lot happening
in the Royal Pro, one of my favorite neighborhoods because of all that. Near the Royal Prominade is the Crown Lounge. The Crown Lounge is a dedicated area just for guests who are at least diamond level in Royal Caribbean's Crown and Anchor Society. Basically, Royal Caribbean wants to reward people who
cruise a lot with Royal Caribbean with their own special area. The Crown Lounge is an area you can go to that's obviously going to be a little less crowded than other lounges around the ship because it's only for Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Club members. And on top of that, not only is a
reserved area for them, there also extra benefits you get by going there. There's a Diamond Concierge who can help you with reservations or other issues you may be having. And you'll find orurves and other snacks served throughout the day. And it's really nice, I think, that Royal Green recognizes its [music] top
tier members with a dedicated area just for them. It's great for playing cards, meeting new friends, hanging out with old friends, or even inviting your friend Kenny to join you for it. Across the way is the escape room. The escape room is extra cost venue that you pay for to enjoy different experiences.
[music] There actually two different escape rooms on Legend of the Seas. They're all in the same venue. They just swap between show A and show [music] B, if you will. This is a really fun activity. Obviously, not for everybody, but something different to do, and I think it's really fun to try out, and maybe
that'd be something for fun for you and your family to give it a try. It does cost extra, but you can reserve it before the cruise begins. Now that we've done a deep dive into these neighborhoods, I'm hungry. So, let's look at some more restaurants because we got it. It's been like 10 minutes since
I've eaten something and it's time to enjoy what Rokin really does well, [music] which is food. And there's a lot of great restaurants on board the ship as you're about to see. First up is the Wind Jammer Marketplace. This is the buffet. It's located on deck 15 at the back of the ship. When you walk in, you
need a washiashi. You wash your hands and the crew members will remind you of it. So there's hand washing stations for you to use your hot water, soap, and then dry your hands. And then yes, time for the Wind Jammer. This is the buffet on board. The Wind Jammer is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day
of your cruise. It is included in your cruise fair. It's unlimited food, and they serve a lot of it. You know, you can go here for your, you know, obviously the three meals of the day, snacks, second dinners, third dinners if your name is Kenny. They've got a lot of great choices for you. And what I love
about the Wind Jammer is that it's the all-encompassing option for families. I mean, you can picky eaters, not picky eaters. They have a very wide selection. They have kids foods, they have adult foods, they have seafood, they have burgers, hot dogs, Indian food, they have bakeries, they have pastas. I mean,
it is the widest selection. Basically, if you're trying to get something for everybody, this is the place to go. It'll be open on the first day of your cruise for Empire Day lunch, and then it's again available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They don't say open 24 hours a day and they do take breaks
between servings between, you know, lunch and dinner as an example, but it's your go-to spot for a quick meal, an easy meal if you will. A lot of cases, you know, like I'll go up here for like, okay, I'm not in the mood for a sitown meal somewhere. I just something quick and easy. Bam. In addition, there are
drinks available as well within the Wind Jammer. You'll have complimentary water and coffee and tea and flavored waters, but they also have, of course, if you want to purchase or have a drink package, sodas and cocktails and beers and whatnot. But there are drink stations [music] in which you can enjoy
unlimited drinks. But really, this is a buffet. Unlimited drinks are the name of the game. Now, you've seen along our tour here. These Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are going to need to have a Coca-Cola Freestyle Cup, which comes with a soda package, but it allows you to enjoy really that particular benefit
if you're into having a lot of soda. Well, then you have those kind of soda combinations. But the Windham Shammer is massive. I mean, there's so much space here. And what I love about it is just the sheer variety of food. And in some of the seating, you can really get away from a lot of people. I'm impressed by
how big the buffet area is. But it gets very busy. I mean, you're looking at it fairly empty. But, you know, for breakfast, my goodness, this place will fill up. Embarcation day lunch, same thing. People go here because it's just one of the best options available. And so, people are drawn to the buffet for
it. And the Wind Jammer, or I call it the Windjam, is a lot of fun to go to because I think it's just a great spot. Good variety. All right, next up is Hollywood Land Supper Club. So, this is one of the new special restaurants on Legend [music] of the Seas, and this is a formal dining experience. You need to
have a jacket to dine here, but this restaurant is themed to the 1920s to 1950s Hollywood film era. This is the golden age of Hollywood where you're walking into this [music] and you're have music and food that match each other. In fact, they're cocktails as well. The idea here is you have a formal [music] dinner
seating where you have seven courses and every course matches a particular decade of music and movies. And what's really cool is you come in here and it's like 1920s. Everything's black and white. Your food is black and white. The music reflects the music of that time. And then you slowly start adding color as
you progress through the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, [music] and they become more vibrant. The music matches that vibrancy. And these are the classic movie tunes, you know, and have heard a thousand times cuz they're just classic, you know, Somewhere Over the Rainbow as an example. And I got to
[music] say, this is one of the best like date night going all out for something special. Hollywood Land Supper Club is amazing. Now, it's expensive, $200 a person, but you do get a lot of cocktails and a lot of food. Every course [music] is matched to the music and a cocktail. Utterly amazing. I think
it's actually a really, really cool experience. Something totally different. Now, going back to dining that's included in your cruise here, we have the main dining room. Every guest can eat in the main dining room for breakfast and dinner every single day. For lunch, it's open on C days only, but
the main dining room offers primarily most people go here for dinner. And at dinner time, they have a different menu every single night of the cruise. And the idea behind the main dining room is that you have an assigned table for yourself. You go there [music] and you get to enjoy a sit-down meal served by
waiters who get to know you. I think the service is incredible. I think the food is really impressive. You know, the main dining room is a staple of a cruise ship. I mean, no matter which cruise line you're on, whenever which ship you're on, there's a main dining room. And there's something about it where you
get a little dressed up, go out to dinner, enjoy the time here. In fact, if you're cruising with family and friends, I'd recommend having, [music] you know, coordinating dinners at the very least in the main dining room or one of the special restaurants we've seen already. But the main dining room, because it's
including your cruise fair, is hard to pass up. And they have some really good options. French onion soup, lobster night on the second formal night. It's really, really good. Now, if you got kids, we got to mention Adventure Ocean. We saw Surfside. That's like, you know, you take your kids there. But Adventure
Ocean is the kids club on board. Adventure Ocean is a place you can go to bring [music] your kids, drop them off, and they are supervised with different programming available. The programming is differentiated by age groups. So 3 to [music] 5, 6 to 9, and then 10 to 12. And then you have the teen club we'll
see in a little bit. If you have really young kids below the age of three, there's a nursery that costs extra. Trust me, it's the best money you ever spent. That's at Adventure Ocean Babies. But for Adventure Ocean 3 and above, it's included in your cruise fair up until 10:00 at night. After 10 o'clock,
you only pay like $10 an hour, which to me is a steal of a deal. And it's great because kids can do what they want. There are art, [music] coloring, video games, physical games, contests. I mean, there's a lot going on. There's movies you can watch. Adventure Ocean just requires you to sign your kids up to
register them on day one. So, make sure you do that when you board the ship, and then you just drop them off and pick them up at whatever time you'd like to. I got to say, Adventure Ocean is incredible. It's including your cruise fair. It's one of the best reasons to cruise with your kids because it's that
darn impressive. And this space is [music] immense. I mean, you can see here from the clips that we're showing you. There is so much to do and the programming varies throughout the day. Adventure Ocean is open most of the day. Depends if you're on a C day or a port day whether or not to take breaks or not.
But I got to tell you, when my kids were of that age, especially below the age of about 10, they loved it. They never wanted to leave. It was incredible. I also want to mention there's a store near the entrance to Adventure Ocean and Playmakers. And this is another souvenir spot. You know, Royal Caribbean tries
not to do like a here's another shop that has the exact same stuff you've seen everywhere else. So, this is, you know, a different take on Royal Caribbean and Legend of the Seas gear. That leads us to Playmakers, which is the sports bar towards the back of deck 6. And I love Playmakers. This is a
sports bar cost extra to dine here and eat here and drink here. But this is where you want to go if you want to watch a game and have a drink or food to go with it. I mean, this is the best sports bar at sea. They've [music] got TVs everywhere. They've got great bar food, burgers, nachos, chicken fingers,
onion rings. It's really impressive the food selections here. And of course, they have great cocktails [music] and beers to go with it. I mean, we'll usually go to Playmakers maybe to watch a game or to simply go for the food. I mean, it's all all a cart. That's the great thing about the food here. So, you
can stop in and say, you know what, we just want to have some nachos and that's it. We'll share that and low cost. Or you go all in and have a full meal. I got to say, Playmakers is great. Now, it gets very busy when there's a major sporting event like the World Series. [music] Watching the Red Sox blow it is always
very, very popular. In addition to that, you know, NFL playoffs, NCAA tournaments, World Cup, whatever is going on, the Olympics, they'll be showing it over here on many of the different screens. There's also the owner's box, which is a private area you can reserve just for your family. It
does cost extra to have that, but you can inquire within about reserving it for about an hour or so and then enjoy a special reserved area of Playmakers. I like going to playmakers for like, you know, late night. Hey, let's have one more drink before bed and checking that out. Now, nearby is social 020 or social
20. I don't know what you're supposed to call it, but this is a teen club. This is the area of the ship where teens can go and congregate, meet other teens. Now, in reality, they all come here on day one. And so, it's important if your teens want to meet other teenagers, go here on the first night of the cruise.
They all go there on the first night of the cruise and then they go almost anywhere else. They don't really head back to the zen club, but it does exist for them. It's a dedicated area just for them. Obviously, it's designed to be a chill out and relax and hang out spot. I mean, teenagers inevitably just get
drawn to other places on the ship, whether it's the water slides, the sports court, [music] the elevators. They like to sit on the elevators and the stairs, but it's for kids between the ages of 13 and 17, and [music] it's reserved just for them. There's no cost to the teen club. You
just simply need to register them on the first day. One of the signature entertainment venues on Legend of the Seas is Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena Royal Caribbean has ever built. If you've seen ice shows on other real Caribbean ships, this takes things up to another level with a much larger venue
and more elaborate productions. Legends feature show is called Fusion, which combines worldclass skating with acrobatics, special effects, and really good storytelling. Even if you normally don't go out of your way to watch like I don't figure skating, cuz I know I don't, I still recommend making time for
this one. Royal Caribbean's ice shows have consistently been some of the best entertainment at sea, and Fusion really continues that tradition. Now, reservations are recommended, so you really should make them before the cruise. But of course, you can go on the Royal Caribbean app or the Cruise
Planner website, so that way you're assured of a time and a date to see the show. The Royal Theater is home to the ship's Broadway style show along with guest entertainers and other headlined performances throughout your cruise. The feature production on Legend is Charlie in the Chocolate Factory: The Musical,
which makes his debut at sea. Now, this is a full Broadway show with elaborate sets, costumes, music, and plenty of familiar characters from the classic story. It's not based on any one film, but they kind of take elements from all of them, and of course, [music] the books to create their own version. Royal
Caribbean worked with the Royal Doll family to come up with a production that really makes sense. Now, having seen the show, I was totally blown away by it. When you get to the chocolate factory and into the chocolate room, I mean, this is a really impressive production. Now, it's included in your cruise. How
amazing is that? Because usually when you see Broadway shows at home or in New York City for that matter, you're paying hundreds of dollars for it. But here, it's [music] included in your cruise fair and these are really talented performers. It's absolutely amazing. Definitely worth doing. Now, if music is
more your thing, [music] you'll probably find yourself spending more time at music hall throughout the cruise. This venue hosts rock bands, tribute acts, theme parties, and late entertainment. During the daytime, it's pretty quiet. And occasionally you'll find like trivia or some other event going on here. But
what it really is great about it is when it gets a nighttime and there's live musical acts, tribute bands, even parties here. They do a really good job with it and it's one of the liveliest places on the ship. What I like about Music Hall is that you don't have to stay for an entire performance. You grab
a drink, listen to a few songs, dance if you want to, or simply stop in while you're exploring everything happening on board the ship. Music Hall is easily one of the most overlooked venues because it's kind of hidden in the grand scheme of things. cuz you don't really walk through this area all the time. But I
got to say, if you're a fan of live music and rock music, Music Hall is definitely a spot you want to check out on Legend. If you've been looking to slow things down a bit though, Vitality Spa is a full service spa offering everything from massages and facials to salon treatments and thermal suite
access. Like on most Royal Green ships, you'll find seminars and [music] product demonstrations scheduled throughout the cruise. But even if you aren't planning to book a treatment, it might really be worth walking through the spa on day for a complimentary tour. If you're curious
about the services or want to see if there are any specials available during your sailing, you could book these reservations for the spa before the cruise or on board the ship. Now, before the cruise, Royal Caribbean offers some pretty significant discounts if you reserve it for a specific [music]
treatment. But if you're on the ship, there will be daily specials every day. And in a lot of cases, they're combo deals. you get this treatment and this treatment for one price instead of just booking one treatment individually. And they can possibly save you some money on those deals. I mean, ultimately, it's
the spa. It's a splurge. It's going to cost you a lot of money. But for a lot of people, they swear by it as a way to relax and enjoy their cruise vacation. And there are a lot of different treatments out there. There's the bamboo treatment, sweeps, massage, acupuncture. I mean, there's a lot of it. So, it' be
worth checking out what's available. In addition, you can also purchase access to the thermal suite, which basically is like a pass for your entire sailing. You can use it for the entire voyage as many times as you want to access those thermal suite [music] areas of the ship. So, the Vitality at Sea Spa is not a bad
space to go to if you're looking for a massage and a way to relax. For a lot of people, it's like the casino for them, right? It's a way for them to enjoy their cruise just a little bit more, even if it costs them extra. You'll also find a fitness center on Legend of the Seas. [music] It's one of the largest
gyms in the fleet with plenty of cardio equipment along with weight machines, free weights, and dedicated stretching space. If you like keeping up with the workouts while you're away on a vacation, you'll have no trouble finding everything you need here. There are also group fitness classes available
throughout the cruise, but many [music] of them do have additional costs. But the use of fitness center itself and the machines and the free weights you're seeing [music] here have no cost to you and use it pretty much all day long. And it allows you plenty of opportunity to get your workouts in because it's a
really impressive gym. I know you've probably seen like hotel gyms that have like, you know, a set of free weights in the corner. This is not like this at all. I'm always impressed by the fitness centers on Royal Caribbean ships, but when you go on a trip like Legend, I mean, this really is a worldclass
fitness facility. It's fantastic, and the fact it's all included is really good. So, definitely bring your workout clothes on here. Sorry, not sorry. It will work out for you in that regard. Now, one feature you'll notice throughout Legend of the Seas are the destination elevators. If you've never
used them before, it can be a little confusing at first, but it's actually really simple. Instead of getting inside an elevator and pressing your floor, you'll enter your destination on the touchcreen outside the elevator bank first. The system then assigns you a specific elevator, usually with a
letter, and then tells you exactly which one to board. The idea is that guests traveling to similar decks right together, making the elevators more efficient, and it really does reduce weight times. Now, one thing we haven't talked about is the fact there are a lot of different cabins on board the ship.
There are inside cabins, balcony cabins, giant suites, smaller rooms, and everything else in between. Which cabin you should book really depends on your budget, who you're traveling with, and what your priorities are. I mean, quite frankly, right here, we're seeing a standard ocean view balcony cabin. This
is the most popular kind of room out there on a cruise ship. And you'll see here it has a private space for you to enjoy with access to your own balcony. You also have your own bathroom, which is really important as well. And of course, there's enough space for easily two people to enjoy this particular
cabin. Now, rooms come in all sorts of configurations. And depending on your budget and whom you're traveling with, there could be a good reason to book one or the other. My advice is work with a really good travel agent. [music] We recommend Mi Travel as an example with our travel agent sponsor here, full
disclosure, but they're absolutely fantastic. But really, you can get by in an inside cabin just as much as a giant suite. For a lot of people, I think their budget dictates a lot of their needs, so to speak. You know, if you're on a tight budget, you could justify an inside room quite easily because you'll
have plenty of money to spare afterwards. Certainly, a suite would be a wonderful way to enjoy it. Or you could simply say, you know what, there's so much happening on the ship. I just watched this amazing YouTube video by this guy named Matt who looks like Brad Pitt. I think I really want to get a
room that's a little on the smaller side, save some money, and spend that money on things like dining packages, drink packages, or even amazing shore excursions. So, there isn't a right or a wrong answer when it comes to which cabin to choose for your cruise. I'm just saying there are a lot of cabins on
Legend of the Seas and you know it's worth investigating before you book the right cabin choice for you because there are a lot of different options out there. Well, there you have it. Our complete tour of Legend of the Seas. As you can see, there's a lot to explore on board. And hopefully this walkthrough
video has given you a much better idea of how the ship is laid out and what you can expect before the cruise. Whether you're already booked or still trying to decide if Legend of the Seas is the right choice for you. I think one of the best things you can do is go in with a game plan knowing where everything is.
