Justin’s Take

This video is genuinely helpful because it shows you exactly what a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon looks like from two real camera angles, complete with pilot narration and the full 45-minute experience condensed into viewable form. The dual-camera setup is particularly valuable; it lets armchair viewers understand both the exterior thrill and the interior cabin perspective before committing to booking.

What stands out most is the honesty of the footage—you see the actual view quality, hear the real pilot communication, and get a sense of the flight's pacing and route without marketing hype. If you're deciding between aerial tours or whether flying over the canyon appeals to you, this gives you everything you need to decide with confidence.

Description

Flying over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter is breathtaking to say the least. Join us on our 45 minute ride and witness the grand vistas and hear interesting stories while learning little know facts along the way!

For those wanting to get right to it, I would suggest starting at 7:04

This is two videos combined (PIP), The video in the upper left hand side of the screen is the video shot from the camera on the front bottom side of the helicopter, it is synchronized with the actual video I shot from inside the helicopter. The quality of the DVD from Maverick was not very good, but it looks much better smaller.

To avoid any copyright infringements, I edited the audio on the DVD so that you can hear the pilots voice but very little of the default music that Maveric added to it.
