0:45 were, in my opinion, wrong with the Sport Basic, and they've come out with a really nice collar that fits a mid-range price and gives you a lot of the features that you need, but gives you those features in a noook operation, which is something that we really like in an e-collar. I'm not a big fan of LCD

1:05 screens or having to to kind of guess what I'm doing or when I'm switching dogs. I like dials and buttons and toggle switches and that's what you've got with the Sport Pro. It's got a 10le dial. It has toggle switches for dogs one, two, and three. It's expandable up to three dogs. And then you've got four

1:25 buttons which control all of the operations of the system. You have a continuous button, a momentary button, a vibe button, and a tone button. What that means is that when you're on a stimulation level, you're able to give a continuous stimulation, which continuous lasts as long as you hold the button

1:43 down, or a momentary stimulation, which momentary is just a fraction of a second. Doesn't matter how long you hold the button down. You press it and it's going to stem and cut off before you can even release the button. And then you've got a button that's tone and a button that's vibe. And that's a little unique

You have to actually make a change on the dial to get to vibration. So for folks that use both tone and

2:48 looking to step up to the topline Pro 550, but they want something um that that fits the traditional nook operation, which the Garmin Deltas really don't, then the Sport Pro is the product for you to take a look at. All right, let's talk about a couple of the auxiliary features of the Garmin

3:14 Sport Pro. The Garmin Sport Pro uses the exact same pro collar as the Pro70 Pro 550. So, it's their big top-of-the-line collar, and it has built-in, I call them, running lights. Um, these two lights here in front of the collar. It allows you to remotely turn them on and off. This can be great for a couple of

3:36 situations. You walk your dog at night, you let your dog out in the backyard at night, um, if you're out in traffic. Uh, I use it on my duck dog in, uh, you know, out in the mornings when I'm setting decoys. I can turn the light on and it, you know, I've got I know exactly where he is. And also, if he

3:51 wants to be out there helping me out, you know, uh, got a little extra flashlight with us. So, it's a good safety feature. Allows you to turn it on and off from the transmitter. On the dial, there is an auxiliary position. And so, turn your dial to the auxiliary position. And then this is where you

4:07 have uh, double use of some of your buttons. Uh the uh vibe button is the light on. So you press that and your lights come on. And the tone button is your lights off. Press that and your lights go off. So on, off, on, off. And once again, that's when you're in the auxiliary position. Allows you to

4:26 activate that. So you can turn your lights on and then you can go back and use your stimulation. Lights are going to stay on. When you get ready to cut them off, you turn your dial back to auxiliary, press the button, and they cut off. going to have a little bit of a power drain with that. The lights are on

Um but uh but great safety feature uh help you keep your dog from from getting hit, you know, by a car if they're out. Um just makes them easier to see and that's a good thing. 5:05 built-in bark limiter feature. It's a little bit different from what we have in the Delta Sport and the Pro 550 Pro 70, but go over a couple things on it. Um, it's actually the best of what they've done so far in my opinion. Um, you can just like in the uh the Pro units, you can turn it on at the collar.

5:26 So, to do that, you simply press your power button. Light's going to go red. It's going to go blue. You release it when it's blue. And now it's in autorise bark limiter mode. Um, and that's just the same way it works on uh on the Pro 70 or the Pro 550. The downside of doing it this way is that you cannot remotely

5:46 deactivate it from your transmitter. But if you don't have the transmitter with you and you want to use it strictly as an autorise bark collar, that's the way to do it. And when you get ready to cut it off, you simply turn the unit off and you're back into regular mode. So turn it back on. Now it's back in your

6:03 e-collar mode. So, continuous stimulation five tone. All right. You want to activate your bark collar with the transmitter. It's another one of your auxiliary features. So, you turn your dial to auxiliary. And now your continuous button is bark limiter on and your momentary button is bark limiter

6:22 off. Um, and you can do a couple of different things with this. You can also set it up as a vibration bark collar. Um, and that way when the dog barks, instead of using uh electrical stimulation, it's going to vibrate. Um, it's a rare dog that that's going to stop barking. Um, you know, it's one of

6:41 those things where once they get used to the vibration, it may distract them a little bit, but most most dogs with serious barking problems are not going to be stopped by vibration, but you have that option if you want it. Um, to turn that on, you go in the auxiliary mode, you turn the bark collar on, and you

6:54 press the vibe button. Um, okay. Then you have the autorise feature which to turn the autorise feature on the bark limiter on you turn to auxiliary you press the continuous on and then you press bark limiter on and now it is in the autorise function. So that allows it to the dog barks it's

7:19 going to give a low stem he barks again it's going to increase and it's going to gradually work its way up to the top until it finds the correct level for him. For a lot of dogs, that's fine. A dog that that has either a real, you know, real timid dog that doesn't need a lot of stimulation to stop barking or a real

7:37 knucklehead that needs a lot of stimulation to stop barking. I find that the autorise stuff doesn't work quite as well. So, that's where your direct set comes in. So, we're going to cut that off. Go back into auxiliary mode. And you cut your bark limiter on. And then you turn your dial to the

7:55 stimulation you want. I'm going to go to a seven. And you press the button again. And now this bark color is now set on a level seven. So he barks. It's going to immediately correct with a level seven. You can set any of the 10 levels. You need to kind of experiment with it. Figure out what your dog needs

8:13 sensitivity wise and find the right level for him. But to me, it's a much more versatile collar from that standpoint. Those dogs that require a higher level. I've got some of them. Everybody's had a few where you have to correct them with a high level to stop that barking. And with an auto rise,

8:27 they're going to have a lot of time in there to bark to work up to that level. So, I'd rather just stop the problem immediately. So, having that direct set, that's a great way to do it. When you get through and you want to go back, you simply turn your auxiliary and press your bark limiter off and it goes back
